The whole experience was very good. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was very good, and the view was beautiful. The hotel staff was just amazing, very polite, and willing to help.
Wi-fi was very bad in our room. I had to work for a few days and it was not comfortable to keep moving to the hotel lobby to get a good connection. The hotel is a little bit far from Sorrento center, but it offers a free shuttle service (with pre-defined schedule).

Our room with balcony and view across the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius. The pool area and pool - one of the nicest I' ve experienced. Gorgeous view from the infinity pool and from the poolside loungers over the rooftops of Sorrento and the Bay. The efficient and pleasant staff who would advise and support with all sightseeing and hotel related requests. The courtesy bus down into and back up from Sorrento with it's endlessly cheerful drivers Breakfast overlooking the Bay - wonderful with lovely fresh produce - some of it grown in the hotel garden. Gorgeous bar to watch the sun going down in, with a lovely cocktail made by the excellent barman. Clean cool marble everywhere. 10 minute walk into lovely wee village (Sant' Agata) if you wanted a change from the hotel restaurant with lots of restaurants. Not for the faint- hearted, but a fabulous if steep 3km walk from Sant'Agata down what looked like an old donkey path into Sorrento. Good footwear, a bottle of water and a hat essential, but a fun thing to do with great views.
A small thing - but we love our morning coffee with breakfast. It was provided by one of those machines that offer coffees to suit different tastes ( cappuccino, espresso etc) but unfortunately the coffee itself wasn't great. The coffee down in the poolside bar was better.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The view over the bay of Naples was exceptional, The pool, although quite cold, was very clean and the infinity edge offered exceptional views over Sorrento and over to Vesuvius and Naples. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and clearly care about their Customer and employer - the owners clearly value their staff.
The breakfast was disappointing if you arrived at around 8 - 8.30. Arriving at 7 was great as the plates were full and the presentation was quite good. After several people had chosen from the buffet, many plates were depleted and quite scruffy. the staff could have paid more attention to that aspect. I complained after the third day and it appeared to get better only to degrade again on our final morning. It's a shame as that is the ONLY complaint I had during the 6 night stay. The hotel is not cheap but had the breakfast offering been better I would rate the overall experience as 5 star.

This hotel is fantastic for being on the outskirts of Sorrento. The view and infinity pool is breathtaking. In addition, there is a poolside restaurant available for lunch and dinner. Dinner was pricey, but the food was excellent! The best thing about this hotel are the easy options for transportation to Sorrento's city center. #1 - hotel provides a free shuttle with a decent schedule throughout the day both to-and-from hotel/Sorrento city center. With no traffic, about a 15-20 minute ride. Be prepared to give yourself a little extra time for late morning/early afternoon rides because with traffic, could take up to 45 minutes. #2 - if you miss the shuttle, there's a public bus stop directly outside the hotel's property on the corner and that bus line takes you to the Sorrento city center as well, and only costs 1.50 euro a ticket (make sure to buy tickets at hotel reception desk - also another convenience!) In addition, the hotel is located just 5-7 minute walk from the cutest, quaint little town called San Agata. Really good restaurants, cocktail bars, and boutiques. My husband and I enjoyed the hotel breakfast. Oh - and there's a free gated parking lot for hotel guests. Overall, highly highly recommend!
Rooms were small, but that was expected having traveled a lot throughout Italy - seems to be the standard. Also, wish the hotel provided a gym/spa - however there is plenty of outdoor space to get in a workout/yoga... with a view!

We enjoyed a week's stay at the due Golfi in late September. As others have stated, the staff at all levels are incredibly willing and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The accommodation was what you'd expect of a 4-star hotel and the location is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Views from the pool deck are spectacular. Food is very good, the breakfast buffet includes a huge variety. Dinner at the restaurant is gourmet cuisine and reasonably priced. Lunch is available in the pool area, very high quality too. The shuttle bus to Sorrento was readily available during our stay although it could run more frequently. The small town of Sant'Agata is a 600m walk to shops, restaurants (and a laundromat) although there is no sidewalk for the first 200m along the winding road - not something to try after dark. Taxi's are expensive, have the front desk book them to get the best rates. If you want to take the ferry to other towns in the area, be warned that the shuttle drops you a good 20-30 minute walk from the port - look for the lift (ascensore) to avoid long staircases. A taxi costs around €25. Book ferries, rental cars early because they sell out fast.
Increased shuttle frequency and adding a stop at the port would be ideal.

Excellent location if you want to be secluded and away from the population. Staff were attentive and the restaurant was great.
The location means you need to arrange regular transport to the main town. If you plan early morning trips than you will need to book a taxi which is 60 euro minimum. The shuttle bus operating for free as part of the hotel to drive you to town has odd hours and starts later in the morning. This is the only negative about the property, but it all depends on how you plan your time in Sorrento.

The pool and the views were fantastic and the staff very attentive for help with sunbeds etc. Breakfast was amazing, great choices and plentiful. The reception staff were very friendly and happy to help with any questions there was also an interactive information screen with regards to local buses and excursions. The shuttle bus provided by the Hotel to and from Sorrento was always punctual, and the driver friendly and helpful. An excellent hotel in an excellent location would thoroughly recommend.

The staff and facilities were amazing! The staff made our stay so extra special. They were friendly, helpful and bent over backwards for us. It was my birthday and they even gave us a gift just because! The restaurant staff were also amazing. We had a 14 month old with us and I know it can be frustrating to deal with a little one. They were so friendly and patient with him and were simply amazing! The pool and the view were absolutely breath taking. I will 100% being staying here again the next time I visit Southern Italy.
Nothing! This place had it all!

Brilliant location overlooking the Bay of Naples. Beautifully clean, good facilities and fab infinity pool. The shuttle bus was a great service and saves a lot on local taxis which aren’t cheap.
You take your life into your hands crossing the road to the village - Sant Agata. New road markings added whilst we were there slowed / calmed traffic but a pedestrian crossing is essential especially for those with children.

The staff at this hotel were exceptional, so pleasant and helpful in every area of the hotel. The dining experience both nights was excellent, the pool area is so relaxed and the view just incredible
My only negative is there was only one plug in the room and one in the bathroom, in an age of charging everything we own, that should be addressed.
