Comfy bed and quiet site

Lovey big room looking out on to the garden, nice to have some colour in the decor as most motels we have stayed in have been quite bland. Everything in the room, small kitchen you would need for a night stop over. Nice selection of toiletries, including hair conditioner and body lotion. Very clean property. Very close to local amenities. Definitely would recommend as a stop over .

Great that it’s an easy check in and out - just a shame you don’t get to put a face to the hosts as nice to say hello , get some local tips and to say thank you We stayed in a room with a fully wet room bathroom - only thing found the floor to be really slippy when wet - not sure how you can solve that one however without more mats

There was no road noise. The unit was spacious and had a well-equipped kitchen. It was spotlessly clean

The main problem was the lack of sound-proofing - we were kept awake both nights by the people next door talking (two different sets of people, so it’s not just that they were extra-loud). The lack of reception area or any contact with people was a bit weird, and it was more expensive than I would expect in Murchison

The room was very clean and the location was excellent for accessing the pub / restaurants. Check in was very easy (a key box with instructions sent). Room serviced with towels each day. Very quiet location. Shower pressure excellent.

Just so people are aware, there is no reception... not an issue for me but this is more of an Air BnB style set up than a hotel with staff available etc. Driveway is long and a bit dark in the evening.

One of the nicest motels we’ve stayed in. Spacious and a well equipped kitchen. Modern and up to date decor and a good size kitchen area. Off the main road so quiet location but easy to get to town. We recommend the Cow Shed for food and drinks rather than the local hotel recommended by the accommodation as that was pretty dire. Cow Shed was great!

A little impersonal but it didn’t have a negative impact on our stay there.

Great location. We walked to a local restaurant to get a takeaway dinner. The supermarket is a couple of minutes walk away, so are the other shops.and the pub. The motel is down a driveway, so it is very quiet. There is a garden and lawns as well as car parking. The bed is huge and very comfortable.

The kitchenette is ok for heating food, making toast, etc., but not really enough to make a basic meal. That didn't matter to us as we had already planned to eat out the one night we were there, but it might be more important for others. BTW I highly recommend The Cowshed for an excellent evening meal and great ambience (eat at a garden table if the weather is fine - it's just lovely!)

Beautiful rooms, contactless check in was easy. Beds were comfy and the outdoor seating lovely. The only thing to mention is the shower without any screen tends to throw water on the bathroom floor which could be quite slippery. Probably one glass screen between the shower and window would help. Otherwise could not fault this property.

No one greet you at the counter, but this is as expected, and the check in procedure is very clear.

Clean, modern and well-designed motel unit set back off the street. It was very comfortable, had good WiFi , and a nice kitchenette. We didn’t see the staff but received an email with instructions on how to access the unit. Murchison is a small town and the motel is central. There is a hotel with a restaurant nearby to get an evening meal.
