I loved this place so much. So tranquil, the location is extraordinary, the room had a view to the mountains. I loved every minute of my staying there. The breakfast was nice (typically Moroccan), you can also have dinner there (tajine), which was very delicious as well. Aziz is very respectful. Overall, I recommend this place.

The property is located just up the road from the main village of Imlil, maybe a 15 minute stroll. It is in a peaceful neighborhood with incredibly friendly neighbors and visitors from other villages. We enjoyed the small separation from the main town center, the gorgeous views of all the surrounding mountains and valleys and of course, our hosts, Lahsen and Azziz. My partner and I were originally planning to stay 9 nights and have since turned it into 13 nights, almost entirely due to the wonderful hospitality, kindness and warmth of our hosts. When we arrived, we were hours too early and Azziz still welcomed us without any hesitation, served us tea on the balcony and visited with us. He prepared our room earlier than he was expected to, gave us advice for our stay and showed us around the guesthouse. Since that first day, nothing has changed. Lahsen and Azziz are both always asking how we are, if we’re comfortable, making us tea and visiting with us. Azzis even offered to help us make OUR dinner one night after he had been cooking all evening. My partner and I paid for the breakfast and each morning at 8:30, there was freshly baked bread, butter, cream cheese, jams, honey, an egg, orange juice and tea waiting for us and other visitors in the dining area which was always exceptionally clean and comfortable. My partner and I were traveling on a budget and were welcomed to use the kitchen and its utensils whenever we needed to, even a location to store our food. As with any kitchen, be sure to check with the hosts on the best ways to utilize utensils, dishes, appliances, etc. to best maintain their belongings. One evening, we got home very late and our hot water wasn’t working and Azziz did not hesitate to spend the next 30 minutes working to fix the issue, which of course was fixed. I think it is also notable that this hospitality was extended to every guest.

I liked everything about the property.

The location was fantastic. Calm relaxing little village. The house surrounded with trees and running river. The breakfast was great with plenty of choices. specially with the amazing view from the terrace. Aziz the host made sure everything was to our liking. For an extra fee you could have meals, I had my dinners there. A traditional Moroccan meal with a soup as starter, a tajine of your choice, desert and tea. The bed was comfy, the shower relaxing. A real bargain.

There was no parking. But you could park on a nearby street.

During our recent trip to Morocco, we had the pleasure of staying at a charming house in the picturesque village of Imlil, nestled in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Location: The house is conveniently located not a long walk from the center of Imlil. The views from the house are great if you face the right side. It's the perfect base for hiking enthusiasts looking to explore the famous Toubkal National Park. Accommodation: The house itself is nicely decorated with traditional Moroccan touches. We loved the cozy living area with its warm, inviting atmosphere — a perfect spot to unwind after a day of trekking. The rooms were spacious and had comfortable beds. Hospitality: The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. Amenities: We appreciated the modern amenities, including reliable Wi-Fi and hot water. There’s also a lovely terrace where we enjoyed our evening tea while soaking in the sunset views.

Food prices and the portion sizes. Lack of toilet paper in the toilet.

My experience at Dar Adouss far exceeded my expectations. The host was incredibly gentle, attentive, and readily available to assist us in managing our trip effectively. The breakfast served was not only delicious but also exquisitely tasty. The facilities were impeccably clean, and the room boasted spacious dimensions with exceptionally cozy beds. In conclusion, I am thoroughly delighted and satisfied with my stay, and I will undoubtedly return to the same house in the future.

A very cool place outside the tourist hordes of the center of the "town". The walk up the main road was not easy, nor difficult, but I was glad whenever I made it to the guesthouse. The last 200-300 meters walk is through a very nicely shaded area with trees and donkeys/horses passing by. Aziz, the guy who manages the site, it amazingly king and helpful! The owner, Lahsen, was quick to respond to any questions. We spent most of our time on the terrace that overlooks Imlil.

Fantastic stay. Host Imran and Aziz were absolutely great. They were very helpful and arranged things (like taxi and mountain guide) on moments notice. We were offered tea upon arrival and breakfast was also good. My stay was during 2023 earthquake and host (along with locals from village generally) were very helpful and caring. Due to earthquake, we had to stay outside buildings the whole night. Hosts and locals provided us tea, something to eat and event build us a tent where we could stay until dawn. If you do not desire luxury but memories, I highly recommend this property and hosts.

The earthquake happened while we were staying there. We had no idea what to do, and they made sure to always keep us safe and comfortable despite the terrible situation their community was in. They even walked 30km one day to help some other guests get out of the town when the road was blocked. And they organized tents to sleep in (as a safety precaution). Although it’s worth noting that the building had almost no evidence of earthquake. Aside from the quake, we were generally really happy with the service.

The location was a little further from the center than we thought. About a 15 minute walk.

Quiet neighborhood about 1 km away from Imlil center. Good value.

Ignore your nav app directions. Call for instructions or take the road east from Imlil center for 1 km, park just before Riad Oussagou, then walk north (left) on a level concrete path following a water canal. Maintenance and cleaning can be improved.

An absolutely amazing stay in an exceptional home! Everything was perfect: a charming setting, impeccable amenities, and a warm atmosphere that made us feel at home right away. The house is beautifully decorated and offers all the comfort needed to relax and fully enjoy the stay. Thank you for this unforgettable experience; we will gladly return!
