Wonderfully renovated villa in the middle of a very busy city. The decor is stunning, with marble fitting for Carrara everywhere. The bathroom is so beautiful, you could just admire it. The entire villa is filled with artworks from both well-known and lesser-known artists, making it a pure delight for visual enthusiasts. The breakfast is decent, the cleanliness is excellent. Coffee and tea are available in the room, along with a fridge. The lady who runs the villa is very friendly and accommodating. She suggested places to visit and recommended restaurants.

Our room had a metal canopy bed, which is quite unique. However, it may not be ideal for older or heavier individuals as it tends to sway quite a bit. I would recommend such a beautiful bed for fit couples. We are apparently a bit too old for it :)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an incredible boutique hotel in Carrara, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the charm and elegance of this place. The interior design is simply stunning, blending classic Italian style with modern touches that create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Words cannot express how much we loved our stay here. This is a classic Italian villa that was beautifully renovated, without taking away its authenticity. The rooms are apartments actually with the most comfortable bed and all the amenities you could possibly need. Bathroom is very spacious and decorated with marble to ensure you are cool on a hot summer's day (which we had plenty of during our June stay). The house screams comfort as everywhere you look there is a comfortable chair oe couch where you can snooze on. It also has a beautiful garden where you can take your breakfast every morning. You can choose your menu in advance which is not tough as everything is delicious and served in beautiful simple china. The house is right near a bus stop that will either take you to the beach (10min) or the city center (5min). The best part about this accomodation was the owner; since it is a small town taxis are scarce so she was kind enough to pick us up from the train station, show us around town and help us out whenever we couldn't find a ride. She even took us to book a car and managed to find us a great deal, all with a sincere smile on her face. It is the small details and the great customer service that made our stay one of the best we've ever had (and we travel a lot).

The B&B is like a museum with many sculptures and artwork. The room with a terrace on the top floor has a view of the marble quarry which is a bonus. We like that there were fresh eggs at breakfast. Margarita was very friendly and welcoming and gave us recommendations of what to do in Carrara.

We were a bit surprised that even in October there were still one or two mosquitos in the room ..

This is an exceptional hotel/property with an exceptional host/owner. It exceeded our expectations in all ways. Our suite was wonderful and the bed… oh so comfortable!!! The gardens are beautiful and the breakfast, well let’s say, you’ll be pleasantly surprised!!! We can highly recommend and will return next time we are back in the area. What a treat!!!

Everything was amazing!

The whole villa is amazing, serene, green. It is like an oasis for perfect relaxation. Rooms are top class, very spacious, beautifully decorated, have everything you need. The staff is super professional, friendly and helpful, we recieved a lot of valuable tips about traveling to Cinque Terre which made our trip more enjoyable. 100% recommend to stay here and we will definately come back :)

The location was excellent. Close to the city center, it on main road for the beach resorts and other travels nearby. Safe and convenient parking within the Villa gates. Breakfast was perfect with every option for personal individual tastes. Best of all, our host was wonderful. She shared so many recommendations for day trips , restaurants and secret finds. We want to return for another carefree stay at Villa Belverde .

Everything was just right!

It was a beautiful place to stay! Margareta was a perfect host and helpful in any way including picking us up from the train and taking us back when our visit was over. We were staying here to see Cinque Terre and she was very helpful in helping us decide when it would fit into our tight schedule. Also very informative about the town of Carrara. I love learning about things in this way. Turns out, if you buy marble, it may very well have come from here.

- excellent house and garden, house is an old villa (in original style, but all looks perfectly renovated), also very nice art collection (inside and in the garden) - "suite" is a full apartment with four rooms in fantastic style, it has modern equipment and very good facilities (i.e. fridge, kettle, several areas to sit and rest, well functioning air conditioning) - very large bathroom (mostly marble, but modern equipment) - super friendly and helpful host, very flexibel for check-in, breakfast + departure times - excellent and customised breakfast (you can place specific orders in advance), can be taken on terrace or inside (also good distancing options) - convenient parking opportunity, location is easy to access by car - centrally located to marble caves and Marina de Carrara (for rides by car) - really good value for money

- the district around the house is okay, but not super inviting for a walk (street with traffic), interesting spots can be visited by car or bus
