This hotel has to be one of the best we have ever stayed in. From start to finish the level of service, location and facilities was exceptional and we can’t thank Walter and the team enough for making our stay extra special and one we will never forget. Before arriving I contacted the hotel to see if they could do anything extra special as we had recently suffered a nasty accident as a family and with it being Christmas. Walter and the team went above and beyond. we were shown directly to the suite we had booked and they had gone all out in creating some Christmas magic with decorations, lights and even stockings filled with chocolate. The level of detail they went to was exceptional and it really did make this trip extra special. The suite we booked was outstanding and right by the spa which we booked into at 10am on both days. it was delightful, not overly big but perfectly formed. a memory I will never forget is lying on a lounger looking out at the snow next to the fire in the spa. 🤩 We didn’t have breakfast as we chose to eat out in the town both days which was lovely and the walk to a train station was spectacular walking by a waterfall and the views of Lake Geneva were stunning. You would not regret staying at this hotel at all for the views, facilities and location to the bigger towns Along Lake Geneva. We were blessed with sunny weather on the first day and then a snowy landscape on the second couldn’t have asked for more. thank you again Walter and the team for everything you did for us and our family prior to and during our stay. And we will gladly return as soon as we can! take care and happy New Year to you all.

Absolutely nothing to not like.

The single room. It is nice to travel alone and not have to pay extra for a large bed when it is not needed. I loved the swimming pool, sauna and hammam. I like the idea of limited hours for kids in the pool (I'm a mom, but even I can appreciate adults-only hours in the pool ;-) It is also nice that you can walk to the village in 5 minutes and find a few restaurants.

Considering that breakfast costs CHF 25, I would expect more items at the buffet. It would be wonderful to have pancakes or waffles with maple syrup, as well as breakfast potatoes.

The view is the major factor of this hotel! WOW! Our room was facing the vineyards, Le Man lake and the mountains! The room was nice and clean, bathroom (tight) with good amenities. Breakfast buffet was very good and with the view again! Hard to leave, I have to confess... The hotel's restaurant was full at friday night but, we received an indication of an informal italian one very close by (walking distance) with tasty food. On saturday morning we asked for late check out and we got it (nice receptionist).

Check in coud be much better. Recepcionist stressed, very cold and formal speaking very fast.

Great location and a great view. Staff was friendly

Quite antiquated furniture, and the pillows were not very comfortable. There were kids in the rooms next door and you could hear everything through the night. In addition, the ventilator which was there did not help much to make the room cooler, so we kept the window open which resulted in many mosquito bites. All in all, things that we can work with, however against a rather high price tag

It was a beautiful stay at Baron Tavernier. The views on Christmas morning were breathtaking. Walking around the grounds and the church bells ringing out locally just fabulous. Looking across at the Alps.

There is nothing really much to complain about minor things. But Denis was absolutely outstanding and so helpful, a great guy, and very accommodating. The only thing they might consider when paying that money for stay they should provide a pool and spa inclusive of the price.

The place is amazing! For sure one of the most beautiful location in Switzerland. There is a lot of options for eating and entertainment around this location.

The room is small and smell weird, like a very cheap cleaning product. The pillow was also very old and used.

Amazing views from the balcony over the vineyards and Geneva lake. Large and luxurious room. Lots of things to do nearby (Lavaux, Montreux, Lausanne…) Nice garden.

The hotel itself is quite old, this is particularly visible in the common rooms (hallway and stairs, very small elevator). The rooms themselves have been nicely renovated but some of the furniture (including that on the balcony) could use an upgrade.

Stunning views, nice staff and good restaurant

The baby cot was not great, the mini bar/little fridge was not working on arrival, but got replaced very quickly, so ended up not being an issue. The spa is nice but wish they didn't limit entry with kids to one hour, and if it were free for hotel guests, it would have been even better

Beautiful location with views to die for. Beautiful spacious and modern rooms and bar/restaurant. Located in a small Swiss village with a fantastic bakery nearby.

The only downside would be that you have to pay extra to use the small fitness room. For the price, it would be nice if this was included to all paying hotel guests.

Spectacular location in the heart of the Lavaux wine region.

Road is a bit noisy, but nothing the hotel can do about that. Just be aware a “Forest view” room has a busy street between it and forest. Restaurant expensive for a limited menu, but view is breathtaking.
