Our stay at this hotel was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the host and staff made us feel incredibly welcome with their warmth and helpfulness. The location is perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat, just a 10-minute stroll along the beach to the lively Paje center, yet far enough to avoid the busy crowds and sellers. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The pool, open 24 hours, is a real highlight, with sunbeds right in front of your hut—pure relaxation! 'Hakuna Matata' in every sense of the word—just pole pole and enjoy!

Our stay at this property was amazing! We spent a week there, and everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were fantastic—super attentive, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, and genuinely friendly. They made us feel so welcome. The property itself was beautiful, exactly like the pictures, and offered such a peaceful atmosphere. The location was great too—just a 10-15 minute walk to the city center. It was the perfect distance to enjoy some quiet while still being close enough to everything. The breakfast was also amazing! Many different things to choose. One thing that really stood out was their flexibility. Since they didn’t have any bookings after us, they allowed us a late checkout at 5 p.m. at no extra cost, which was such a thoughtful gesture.

The à la carte breakfast was fantastic! There was a great selection of options to choose from, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. The best part was the flexibility—you could order as much as you wanted, and even request something that wasn't on that days menu if you preferred. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. Excellent service and a relaxing atmosphere made the experience even better. On top of that, the staff were absolutely lovely—so friendly and attentive, they couldn’t do enough to help. Their warm hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend Dao's Piña colada! Delicious!!!

Location was great, however, although very close to the beach, next time we would perhaps opt for something beachfront.

One of the highlights was the big pool, which was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Not to mention, the food was delicious! Every meal I had was a treat, whether it was a hearty breakfast or a flavorful dinner. The overall experience was incredibly relaxing and enjoyable—definitely a place I’d return to!

It was a lovely hotel, a 2 minute walk away from Paje beach. Situated in a very nice location. A restaurant that served fresh food every day, with a wide variety. Really nice balcony with a beautiful view. A very comfortable bed, which allowed me to sleep really well, while staying there. Large comfortable room with good AC and a ceiling fan. Very friendly, considerate and attentive staff, which go above and beyond expectations and tended to my every need. A wonderful hotel which I would definitely recommend.

The room was spotless, spacious and nice designed. The view from our window was breathtaking – the perfect place to relax. Every day, the housekeeping team maintained the room to the highest standard, ensuring it was always a pleasure to return to. The location of the accommodation was ideal as well. It was centrally located yet tucked away in a peaceful area, allowing for easy access to local attractions while offering a serene environment to relax. If you're looking for a place that combines comfort, luxury, and outstanding service, this is it. I can't recommend it highly enough. They made our holiday unforgettable

the place is perfect. the best pool i saw on Zansibar. You stay in the second row, just a minute from the beach. While chilling at the pool its absolutly quiet and private no wind. You can enjoy the busy beach during the day and then step back to athis chilled and quiet place in the evening, away from wind and high tide at the beach. The place is perfectly maintained and the bungalows next to the pool provide all you need. Not to many guests but enough to meet people and make friends. We saw five star places on the beach which where far behind the standarts of this place but 3 times more expencive when it comes to accomodation and the menu as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful, specially Eva and Deli tried everything to make you feel well. Cleaning girls never disturbed and they find always the right time to set up the rooms and spray them in the evening. 2 modern fans in each bungalow plus a aircon gives you all opportunuties to set up the temperature at night for a fantastic sleep. The beds are perfect. You can see and feel that the owners spent really money on what ever they do to maintain the place. No cheap fixing. The manager is always round and takes care. Wifi is working perfect and no electricity cuts. As a lodge owner i can say that that this place is setup and run extremly well and meets standards far over the average from other places in Zansibar and results in a high value for the clients.

A perfect getaway to enjoy amazing ocean. We loved the location at one of the best beaches on Zanzibar (Paje beach) and close to the village Paje, which is worth visiting, e.g. trying food at local cafes. Most fantastic beach I have ever seen. Cristal clear creamy whitest sand, dreamy walks with spotting starfishes at low tides, perfect swim at mid-tights. We were in rooms upstairs, was super cozy atmosphere there, and spacious terrace with a great view warmed our souls. The swimming pool is really good. The hotel's chef cooked deliciously. We were blown away by the island cuisine. Always ask for local dishes such as fish soup or masala, and you'll never regret it. All the staff were super friendly, professional, and very attentive. Thank you very much for a perfect holiday for our family!

My wife and I stayed at Paje Blu for our honeymoon, and it exceeded all our expectations. After the whirlwind of our wedding, this was the perfect place for total relaxation. The cleanliness was outstanding, and the staff's attention to detail was incredible—everyone was so friendly, kind and attentive. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave! The food was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and we especially loved the dinners. Highly recommend trying their meals! I can’t recommend Paje Blu enough for anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating escape !

Not a big deal, this is more of a personal preference and something that the hotel may have considered already but did not get to implement just yet. I would highly recommend adding some hammocks for utmost relaxation under the sun.

Small hotel (around 8-10 bungalows), 2 sunbeds per bungalow, Chef living on place (always helpful), You can change money without problem just in reception, they can also organize trips and taxi, you can swim in swimming pool also in night.. Nice quiet hotel just 200m from the beach , Just like 1 km throw the beach to the center :)

Food is a la carte but i still had feeling that i am eating this same... (not bad but in center is more to offer)
