If you like me and trying to avoid the noisy town life, you will feel great here. The location is perfect for me, surrounded by a forest and near the river it offers quiet and comfort. There is a lot of parking space in front of the hotel and the prices of the rooms are decent (note that I went there in October and in summer the prices may differ)

The wifi is not very good, and the food quality may improve. I mean is good but if they focus on these two things as well this will be a great overall improvement.

We're very happy with our stay in the hotel, the room was spacious and clean, it's a very quiet location, the food in the restaurant is good.

Just flagging that the information on the rooms is a bit misleading - we booked a Deluxe suite advertised as separate bedroom and living room. Since we're with a small child that goes to bed rather early, for us it's important to have some space to ourselves - unfortunately there's no "separate" space at all, it's just a really big room with separate corners. Originally the room we were given didn't have a balcony either, so we asked to change the room and were able to stay there in the evenings. If you'd like to really enjoy the quiet and peace of the location, make sure to confirm there's no private event scheduled at the restaurant. There was one while we were there, with a DJ and loud music, which fortunately ended by 23.10.

The hotel was gorgeous! We had a giant room, which was very clean and well cared for but the absolute best thing about this place was Milena. The Reception/front of house hostess was incredible. She was so friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for you! We had a thoroughly enjoyable 2days in Plovdiv and will certainly be back. And when we are we will stay here again.

We were dissapointed that we had missed the deadline for the pool but it was understandable to be closed after summer (1st Sept).

Located near to Southern edge of Plovdiv, Ostrova sits in woodland on the edge of the rowing lake and backed by the Maritsa river, so leisurely walks after meals and in the evenings were a daily treat. Reception staff spoke good English and could not do enough to help during our stay. Room was very spacious, and balcony had lovely view over the lake. Spa was only 10 leva a session and was another relaxing indulgence every couple of days. Restaurant was excellent; with breakfast have 4 options daily to choose from with every one being huge portions. We ate there with family a few evenings during our stay, and the food was consistently first class and very reasonably priced. All in all, a lovely stay in Plovdiv in a quiet, peaceful location, with great staff and fabulous food.

Location was out of town so needed taxis to get into Plovdiv centre to explore, but at only 10 leva a journey it was not expensive. Bathroom was small and shower had a panel missing so the floor got very wet, which made things difficult for my 82 year old father with his mobility issues. A rubber bathmat from my sister-in-law quickly improved the situation, so would maybe be a good option in all bathrooms.

The hotel is located in a very nice forest. There is good swimming pool next to the hotel. The food in the restaurant is also very nice. The hotel room was big and clean and there were plenty of parking places.

The service was inadequate. They located us in a room above the open-air restaurant where they planned a private party with DJ. It was impossible to fall asleep this evening. They could have planned that such party is coming and put us in another room or at least say that there are no rooms left. There is also problem with the breakfast. They say you can order such in place. In practice you need to reorder it from the previous evening. However when you arrive after 20h there is no place where you can pre-order the breakfast (and you don't know that you should do it). As a result, in the morning you cannot get a breakfast.

The suite was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a cot already set up for the baby. It was perfect for traveling with children as we had plenty of space and could sit on the balcony or other end of the room when they were asleep. The staff were all very friendly, restaurant good, with a selection of local and international foods, parking easy and swimming pool was quiet and beautiful! As was the location - close to the centre of Plovdiv, but quiet and surrounded by trees. It's also next to a rowing canal, which makes a nice place to walk (feels safe, even at night). We had a really positive experience.

If the weather is bad they don't open the pool, which was a concern, but in the end it wasn't a problem - it was open the whole time that we were there.

I wanted to be close to the rowing canal so the location was perfect. Room was clean and comfortable and had a few items in the minibar. The on-site restaurant served great food. Plenty of car parking.

Reception is not 24h.

The rooms were modern and comfortable. With the windows closed the noise level was pretty low despite the nearby rock concert. The staff were friendly and always ready to help.

They were letting people not staying in the hotel use the pool, which meant it was overcrowded and there wasn't a comfortable space for the guests.

Nice ambient, very close to kanal , restourant is perfect.

I had a car, without a personal car, location could be problematic.
