The hotel was just across the plaza from the Hotel Frontenac (a top sight in the old city) and right above the tourist info office, so it was convenient for making plans to see things in the area as well as to get a website for booking a tour to see the old, historic hotel. The location is near many restaurants for a range of meals. Housekeeping was available every day if we had wanted it, but we preferred to grab clean towels or coffee supplies when we saw her. There was creamer in the fridge when we arrived for the coffee maker (Nespresso style). The bed was comfy but had sheet issues. (see below)
The king sized bed did not have fitted sheets. It was difficult to tuck them into the top of the bed, so that by morning the sheets were bunched under our feet. We had to remake the bed each day to sleep comfortably the next night...not a big deal but weird. other than that, we loved the hotel! (Note: The elevator doesn't arrive at all floors exactly. We needed to use 10 stairs which was fine for us. If you don't want to do any stairs, you probably should indicate that on your reservation request.)

Nespresso machine difficult to use and no directions. Pillows were too big and stiff to sleep on. Not enough places to put things in the bathroom for 2 people. Need more hooks and shelves. The remote box for the TV would not work from the bed, because it was behind the TV - you had to get up to change the channel or turn it off. The receptionist helped prop it up so it would work the 2nd day. The room was clean. The shower was nice. The bed was comfortable. The staff was helpful. The location was great and it was convenient to have the tourist offices on the 1st floor.
Sorry - not going to retype it. see above.

Decor was beautiful; Staff very friendly and helpful when we had questions; Location was close to everything we wanted to visit/do; Room was quiet event though we faced out to the main street, we couldn't hear much (including the buskers under our window); Helpful that the Visitor center was on the main floor, too.
The parking situation. I know you don't have a parking lot or dedicated spaces, but the two parking garages we were directed to park in were full due to events happening in town and we had nowhere to park. We ended up driving around for two hours looking for spots and having to park in the garage in the lower town by the water and hiking up to the hotel for a few nights. That was stressful. Is there a way you could buy some monthly parking passes for the garages near the city hall to ensure guests have a place to go, even if it costs guests a little extra to get one it would be worth it.

The staff at this hotel was quite helpful and friendly. The housekeeping staff did a very nice job on our room and bathroom daily, and were quite personable as well. The location of the hotel is excellent, as all of the attractions in Quebec were easily within walking distance. It is right across a courtyard from the beautiful historic Fontenac hotel, the funicular ride down to interesting a varied shopping, as well as other sites of interest and a huge walking boulevard with beautiful views. We loved the quaint European feel of the area surrounding the hotel, as well as the grandness of the Fontenac hotel and beautiful old cathedrals.
The style of the hotel was a bit more glitzy than the quaint European style hotel we prefer.

I would highly recommend Hotel Manoir Morgan. Their location is perfect. It is close to all the famous tourist attractions and restaurants. The Boardwalk is just steps away and I walked there every evening to enjoy. Their staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is tastefully decorated, the bed and pillows are so comfortable that I looked forward to it every night. It's suprisingly quiet even though it is in middle of everything. I will stay there again if I visit Quebec in the future.
The only minor inconvenience is that I need to ring the bell to talk to someone in the front desk but they came out very fast and very helpful.

Staff were excellent and very helpful. Location was across the park from the Fairmont Chateau Frontenac, near everything, walking distance to most old town attractions.
There was no breakfast that came with the room. Had to have a key card to get into the building after 5 p.m. as there are Tourism Quebec offices and a currency exchange business on the first floor that close for business at 5. Can be a bit busy around the front of the building with tourists, coming and going. We had a family group who likes to gather in the evening, and there was only a small "lobby" area by the desk to do so. But they were accommodating with extra chairs, etc.

Lovely room. Nice bathroom. Incredibly convenient location right in center across the street from Château Frontenac with a park in between. The tourist bureau, surprisingly, was located on the ground floor. We had a pretty view from our huge windows! It had nice coffee maker etc
Bathroom could use another surface for personal toiletries, hairbrush etc. The outlets beside my bed were loose and my chargers would not stay in. I had to set them on the desk chair against the wall. Our room was in the second floor but down several steps from the elevator, which was a bit hard for us seniors for maneuvering suitcases to & from the room The tourist bureau being on ground floor meant for a bit of chaos during daytime hours.

This was a larger than usual hotel room with three oversized windows, giving you a spectacular view of the Chateau Frontenac. The room had a sofa bed that was actually comfortable. It's very well situated to explore Old Quebec and the city hall parking is a short walk away. We were very impressed with this room and wanted to book it for next year, but a search on booking.com indicated that the price for 4 nights for the first week of June 2025 was priced at over $19,000??? Needless to say, we didn't pay anything close to that amount for our 4 night stay.
Extra space to store toiletries in the bathroom would have been appreciated...there was just a small, narrow shelf. It's unfortunate that there is not a ramp at the entrance for greater accessibility, it would have been nice to roll your suitcases up a ramp instead of lugging it up the stairs.

Comfortable bed, spacious, clean bathroom and shower, good storage and easy to use wall safe, helpful day staff and late arrival staff, adequate charging points for laptop etc., extremely quiet with hardly any sound from other rooms.
Shower temperature control extremely stiff. TV screen aspect/ratio not suitable and could not find way to adjust. The beds are made up in an odd way: a fitted bottom sheet, not 1 but 2 sheets on top of that and then the duvet. The extra sheet just gets tangled up. Air conditioner didn't work well. Even the staff couldn't adjust it. Temperature fluctuated constantly. One side of the bed would be cold and breezy while the other would be hot. We were told to press the button on the lobby desk to call the early morning staff. This person would be able to provide a statement of charges and to assist getting a taxi. At 7:00am the young man was not very helpful, seemed flustered, spoke very rapidly and we never did get a hotel charge printout.
