Location was great. Plenty of parking under the hotel (note: you have to drive AROUND the block to find the garage entrance, pull up, and the door will open. Once in, park and look for the signs to the hotel (on the other end of the garage entrance and I believe on -1).

I was fine because I was by myself, but the shower and sink/vanity are open to the bedroom (with a half wall on between them and the bed). If there’s a people, it may be an issue when someone’s showering and/or someone is sleeping.

Excellent value for money and very near the town centre . Rooms were very clean comfortable and easily controlled air conditioning. Breakfast was very good indeed , highly recommended. Staff were very friendly , helpful and spoke really good English

We should have booked a few more nights

The hotel is located within walking distance from Central Station and the old town, the shower was big and the 'bathroom' stayed dry while showering. The breakfast smelled amazing (did not eat there) and the staff was very friendly and competent.

There was no separate bathroom, sink was behind a shoulder high wall and shower had an open entry right next to it. Additionally the light sources were distributed quite strangely, there was no room light for the bed area and the entry light was the same switch as the shower light.

The place offered me a decent deal for a two night-stay, my room was large, the bed was really comfortable and the room had a lot of amenities, Wi-Fi coverage was excellent in my room on the 1st floor. All things considered I would say I was satisfied with the stay at the hotel.

I would say that the breakfast could be improved for a little bit, especially for a four-star hotel. I've been in many three-star hotels where the breakfast was more consistent than here. Maybe a few more dishes would change the scenery!

We were given a room upgrade, which provided us with a very pleasant experience, as the accommodations were very spacious, very comfortable. Very good breakfast and attentive service. Very well located: quiet place, but close to everything. The restaurant does not have many options, but offers very satisfying meals, worth trying.

Nothing to mention. The apartment view was to an internal area, but, of coarse, it happens.

Very convenient location in the city centre and with parking facilities directly underneath. Very caring and helpful staff. Beautifully decorated, well equipped in terms of amenities and comfy rooms. Exceeded my expectations, would definitely stay again!

For anyone driving into Gouda, the location is actually the best of both worlds. The parking garage is easy and links up directly to the hotel (follow the sign to the right... even though the hotel is to the left). The city center, as well as the train station, is easily walkable. It makes a nice base to explore the area. The breakfast is outstanding, with all the expected basics for international travelers, as well as a few rotating treats (poffertjes one day, omelets the next). The interior is also quite quirky at times, and quite interesting. A really excellent hotel.

Perhaps I misread it, but the hallway signs didn't always seem to direct me to my room by the fastest path. Otherwise, nothing really to nitpick.

We had a large, comfortable room and the breakfast was excellent. The location was good - it's right on the canal on one edge of the town centre, so you don't have to drive far into the town (the car park was well signposted), but it's only a short walk into the town centre along a canal down some pretty streets. We had dinner in the hotel one night and there was a limited menu, but the food was good. The 12 noon checkout meant that we could spend plenty of time continuing to explore the town on the day we were leaving. The staff all spoke good English. I would stay here again.

There was building work taking place across the road from our room, but this wasn't the hotel's fault.

The hotel is connected to the neighboring parking garage and close to the city center. The room was very nice.

It would’ve been nice to have a discount for the garage. Arriving in the early afternoon, there was no small store to get food in the hotel, or even a vending machine. The restaurant next door was not open yet. The closest restaurant was in the center.
