Location is great, just across the Taipei City hall and like 5 minutes walk to the metro station, 10-15 minutes walk to Taipei 101. We really enjoyed sitting on the couch which is next to the big window that you can look out to see Taipei 101, very relaxing. Also, the little kitchen and dining table were convenient when we wanted to stay in. The room is big and comfortable, The bed and pillows are really comfortable. Also, they gave us 4 bottles of water, soft drink and ice cream every day, and free coffee coupon for weekdays. We will definitely come back

The shower is big but is all tile, so the floor is very slippery when wet. The non-slippery mat provided was not big enough, we actually fell once and had to ask for one more non-slippery mat. Need to be careful about that. Also, the dryer is only 12 minutes each time and it doesn't dry very well like most the hotels.

Hanns House is located in a great area, close to many malls with amazing food courts and shopping at the Breeze across the street. The room was excellent with modern amenities and the closet space was impressive. Wi-Fi is super fast. Excellent location for walking and super close to the Taipei City Hall MRT Station for easy exploring. Staff is delightful and so helpful with any requests or questions. They restock snacks and linens every day and the laundry room was a massive bonus. Room is lux and I had an amazing view of Taipei 101. A wonderful refuge to rest after fun days of exploring. Can’t wait to return, thank you!

The location was excellent. Walking distance to train station, Taipei 101 and Sun Yat Sen Memorial plus surrounded with good places, malls and resto to eat. The room was large, spacious and complete with oven, microwave and fridge (plus with complentary beverages). The staff were always helpful and pleasant to deal with. Our family was very satisfied with the hotel service so we hope they will keep this up. Thank you for making our hotel stay so enjoyable!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I posted this after staying in a few 5 star hotels in Taiwan during my December trip and Hanns house is definitely the best from my point of view. Most 5 star hotels are quite dated and might have limited amenities. In comparison, Hanns house is more contemporary, well stocked with the necessities that traveller needs, located in a quiet corner of a bustling xinyi distric. 5 minutes walk to eslite. Hanns house accommodates my requests promptly as I am travelling with baby. The room is very large and clean. Well equipped kitchenette is a great bonus. Really appreciate the laundry room with free capsule for washing and heavy duty dryer.

Not really . Everything is good. Just hope that there’s a larger variety of breakfast

Room was large and comfortable, with all amenities, e.g. kitchenette, large bathroom, walk-in closet, comfortable working desk with loads of plugs, comfy couch. Plenty of other storage space. The kettle and hot coco was a very nice touch :-) Oh also the staff were super helpful the times we interacted without being overly formal. I liked the business casual attitude.

Nothing really, there were some design decisions in where the bath/shower and restroom were located but, hey, this was not my home so as long as things were functional and pretty (and they were) -- I'm happy.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was spacious and had nice amenities. Very nice bathroom. Serene atmosphere! Staff was helpful and nice. Nespresso machine in the lobby made very nice cappuccinos!

The location isn’t as fun as some of the areas that don’t have a lot of hotels, but it’s not far to get to some of the busier areas.

Location was fantastic next to nearby shopping malls, food options and short walk to Taipei 101. Next to the Taipei City Hall MRT station and bus stops which made it super convenient to get around by transit. Very spacious room with a nice large couch to relax. Lot's of closet space to hang clothes too. Plenty of counter space in the bathroom and the large shower stall featuring a rainfall shower head was amazing. Friendly staff as they always made sure to greet us in the lobby every morning and evening. The daily happy hour drink and coffee bar voucher was a nice bonus. We took these back to our room to enjoy on most days. Will definitely come back again to stay next time we are in Taipei.

The TV in the room switched on by itself in the middle of the night on the 2nd night of our stay. It was quite odd and woke us up unexpectedly. Informed the front desk the next morning and maintenance was able to resolve right away. However, the same thing happened 3 days later so not sure if it was just a glitch in the unit. The daily happy hour drink vouchers were only redeemable during a 2 hour window, from 7pm to 9pm. Would be better if these could be redeemed earlier in the evening.

Convenient location near MRT and walking distance to many great restaurants, cafes, shops as attractions. Nice view of Taipei 101. Cafe in the lobby has good espresso. Happy hour daily 7-9pm was great - unlimited free wine/beer/scotch + nuts. Laundry facilities and kitchenette in room were very handy, especially for longer stays. Laundry is great as it is cheap and charged to your room (no need for cash). Gym is very clean and spacious. Room is bigger than most comparable hotels.

Pillows too soft/smushy No robes Needed to ask for more hangers, not very much storage space for clothes (I stayed 7 nights) Did not find staff particularly friendly, more just efficient but lacking warmth- e.g. at check out, no one asked if we enjoyed our stay

Exceptional staff, with some of the best service from front desk, concierge to housekeeping, staff who genuinely care. Very well thought out and beautifully designed interiors, bedding and furniture with an amazing view of Taipei 101. It feels like staying at a very wealthy person’s home in the heart of Xinyi. An excellent gym, very well appointed with great equipment. Amazing bathroom mirror and lighting. Free bottled water and snacks. Perfect location close to Taipei Town Hall and walking distance to everything Xinyi has to offer.

Nothing, Hanns House exceeded my expectations.
