This is by far the best hotel in the area. The cost-value ratio is incredible. The hotel is located near the May 4th Square which is basically the center of the city. The yellow sea and a sandy beach is 15 minutes walking distance. The rooms are big, clean and equipped with everything you may need. They also have english language guidelines inside the rooms which is pretty unusual even in 5 star hotels on China. Wifi connection is also stable and fast. It is the go to hotel in Qingdao for sure. You can get a 5 star experience even if you are on a budget. The staff is also the kindest.

It takes about 20 minutes to walk to May 4th square, but it’s only about a 5 minute walk from the station, the location is really great! And the staff was absolutely amazing. They gave me a ton of fresh fruits as a welcome gift. The wind noise in the room was too loud, so I contacted the reception and they immediately moved me to a better and quieter room.

There’s a smell of smoke in the bathroom but it doesn’t bother me at all.

The check-in process was one of the easiest in China which I ever had, because it was fully in English. Everyone was so nice and helpful, apart from that the location of the hotel is perfect, the area is not loud, but still is near to the touristic area and places with restaurants and bars. The room was spacious and had quite a great view

In my opinion the light in the bathroom was too yellowish and not bright enough, but apart from that everything is perfect, for sure I will come back if I have a chance to visit Qingdao once again.

Everything was good, especially the location.

It happened twice (different days) that the staff cleared our table when we hadn't yet finished our breakfast despite the food and drinks being still on the table. The restaurant needs to come up with a system, for example, a card to indicate if the guests have left or not. Also, there are no Western spoons for eating cereals, and you are expected to use a small Chinese soup spoon for that! Apart from that, we enjoyed our breakfast.

We were lucky to meet a very nice concierge Mr Zhang En Cheng who helped us during our stay, first day my BOC card was retained by the ATM machine in the lobby, he helped us to retrieve back on the same day Last day, my husband left his mobile in the room when we were on the way to the airport, he tried all ways to get it back to us Courteous and informative, need to thank you who made our trip in Qingdao a memorable one

Our stay at Holiday Inn Qingdao City Centre was very enjoyable. The hotel was incredibly clean and had all the amenities we needed, buffet breakfast was always lovely. The staff were very kind and helpful - particularly Peter when we were checking in and Katherine when we were checking out.

The breakfast was very pricey, and not amazing. The Wi-Fi was TERRIBLE. The front desk staff tried to help us find workarounds, but it was frustrating. The location was convenient to the subway, and the shopping district.

The room is a little bit hot even in winter without air-conditioner. You can open the window to let the cold air in or take less cloths to wear indoor.

Location, room condition was excellent. Most of all, I loved their hospitality especially from Susie, duty manager. She also shared her WeChat and kept checking if our stay is fine. As a foreigner who cannot speak Chinese, I loved this because the fact that there is someone I can contact with in case of emergency was such a relief.

Location and staff were perfect, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Room cleaned to a high standard every day. Indoor swimming pool was a bonus, remember to take a swimming cap which is needed even if you do not have hair (like me)
