Wonderfully personal accommodation, both the accueil and the lodgings. All rooms are different, all with their own charm and features. There is lots of space with a lounge, a free pool table and a comfy sauna. We were two families with kids and they really enjoyed everything. Breakfast was really nice! The view is supernice with a lake nearby and the corps de logi just outside. Olga gave us a very friendly welcome and made everyone feel at home. For the prize it was unbeatable. We went to dinner in the small village nearby where they have a really decent pizza place run by Tobias Gundahl, prize winner in the Nordic Gourmet Pizza Champion Cup 2024. ( Try the white pear pizza ! ) That's also where we learned the story of those who used to live in the mansion..

Amazing place, stunning location! The manor is very beautiful and even guest house gave us feeling of sleeping on a charming historic place, all rooms were very nice furnished. Well-equipped small kitchen and nice dining room was a great bonus, and there even was a billiard and two saunas available, that one on the lake shore with a BBQ place was just amazing. Super welcoming and attentive host. We really enjoyed our stay here! Very nice price for all of this, it was our best stay on the whole journey.

I think the bathroom would need some kind of ventilation, but I understand that can be difficult in old historic houses

Very peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The wooden sauna at the lake was fantastic and hostess Olga was very nice and warmed it for us. We could put our things in fridge and freezer in the kitchenette,

The bathroom in the room is a bit outdated. Kitchenette was in other building than our room, which was a little unpractical. These were however minor issues,

Very stylish and cozy interiors, Very beautiful surroundings The breakfast is decent, Facilities are good enough. Late check in works, which is quite rare for this type of hotels. This hotel is just a hidden gem, especially in terms of price/value.

Unclear instructions how to reach the reception. A tiny detail, apparently.

What a nice and warm place to stay! If you need tranquility in a feel-at-home atmosphere, this is your place. Thanks a lot for the friendly hospitality, we enjoyed your witty humour, and the sauna was awesome too! ;-) The proximity of camping Coppens (camp Grinsby) is an advantage for belgian & dutch TV-fans. There is only one restaurant nearby, but it has very good pizzas etc.

The billiard cue's were a little bit outdated, that's it!

Stunning place, simple check in process. Games room, tv, sauna to keep the family entertained. Beautiful wood fired sauna by the lake also free to use. There is also a very good pizzeria in town that makes for a great dinner experience. We will definitely be back again!

Set in large open space , this place was very good . From the warm friendly welcome i recived upon my arrival to the fantastic cosy clean and relaxing room i had ! Plenty of parking and it seemed quite busy at this time. Very comfortable bed , excellent ensuite. Old buildings , which gave charecter. Very clean and tidy! There is an open communial area, to relax , small kitchen to prepare your own food and set in a lovley settings , some good little touches around the accommadation adds to the relaxing atmosphere! Supermarket , pizza options are a short walk /drive away , lovley quiet place , excellent for a relaxing , to take a rest.. Will stay again and highly reccommened!

Nothing , all was very good

The location was absolutely stunning! Charming buildings by a beautiful lake, there was also an opportunity to rent canoes and enjoy the breathtaking view from the water. The rooms were nice and cozy, an absolute win for the price! Everyone was super friendly and helpful!

Very scenic location looking over a beautiful lake- history is vibrant and alive here. Two saunas, and a small kitchenette for cooking. It's also possible to rent canoes and they have a set up for fire, so you can cozy up by the lake in the evening.The guest house is next to the manor. I changed rooms with no problem, since the first one was definitely not the same standard as the one I ended up sleeping in. Staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, gave us a lesson in the history of the place, all very interesting. Thank you so much and we will definitely come back :)

It would be nice if there was a stove with an oven, I personally don't like microwaved food, but it's just nitpicking at this point :)
