The staff were very accommodating. The desk person during the day was nice enough to check us in when we arrived early. We had an issue with the first room being too warm and the AC not sufficiently cooling it, and the night desk person was able to get us another room that was much cooler. The breakfast was also the best one we had during our trip. The croissants were amazing!! And the hotel had easy access to the metro and downtown Montreal.

The AC unit in the first room looked a bit old, which may be why it didn’t seem to cool it down. It suggests the hotel might want to update the systems in all of the rooms.

Room service knocked on everyone's door between 9:30-10 to see if they had left, and despite yelling no I do not need room service they did not hear me and proceeded to open the door -luckily I had my robe on! That could be uncomfortable if someone was undressed or showering, getting ready to leave! They should be notified to not do so until closer to check out time at 11!

Bed was very comfortable. Room was a little dated but quaint and clean. Breakfast was outstanding!! There was so much food and variety, along with a carefully attended buffet. I would definitely book this hotel for a return trip. It would have been nicer if the bar had been open on the weekend for a light supper after a long day out, as there is no restaurant on site.

Great proximity to Place Bell - we were staying the night for a concert and found we were easily able to walk to and from the venue! The neighborhood feels very safe even towards midnight, and there are plenty of food options nearby. We were offered a free room upgrade and all of the staff we spoke to were incredibly kind and pleasant. The hotel itself is so charming and the rooms are very comfortable. We would stay here again without a doubt and recommend to anyone looking for accommodations in the area!

The elevator to get to certain areas is a little off to the side but I wouldn't say it was that inconvenient for us. However there are a few steps to and from this elevator so I don't believe it would be accessible for guests who require accessibility aids (such as a wheelchair, scooter, etc). There are also a few steps up from the reception towards the breakfast area and I did not notice a ramp or other accessible options. This wasn't an issue for my stay, but likely good to know for other guests considering this location!

We chose that property because it was close to my Doctors appointment twice now. Staff are great with all our needs. It’s clean and it has all we needed: microwave, fridge,safety, parking, close to many restaurants.

My A/C was on but never got cold enough in my room. I mentioned it the next morning to the staff and they said, you should have told us last night we would have found you another room. They did adresse it with the staff concerned. They apologized profusely. That was the only problem we had and it was so minor that the important thing to remember is they did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Next time, I will call the front desk and mention it before my check out!

The property is nice looking from the outside, with plenty of complimentary parking. It is a well kept property. We arrived quite late and the registration was quick and easy. The attendant gave us a room that was bigger than we had requested and close to the parking lot. The sofa bed was actually very comfortable, so my daughter and I didn’t have to share the king bed. The fridge and microwave were a great addition. Loved the complimentary breakfast! Everything was freshly made with a large variety to suit everyone’s taste. The staff is very attentive and courteous. You feel like you’re in a five star hotel.

The gym is very small. Almost looks like a closet that was repurposed. It does have the essential machines as well as a water fountain. Some towels in the gym would have been nice. The room has a minibar for sale, which overwhelmed the mini fridge. The minibar price list is quite expensive. It would have been nice to have a couple of complimentary water bottles. Especially since we arrived late and tired.

We loved the location, delicious variety breakfast, and helpful staff. We were able to walk down to the restaurants next door (three amigos, A&W, McDonald’s) as well as across the street to the shopping mall Centre Laval. There were also several bus stops right outside the hotel that we walked to and took the bus to downtown Montréal.

The pool was incredibly small for a hotel, I felt like I was being punked when I saw it (see the photos). It’s more the size of a kiddie pool or someone’s backyard pool. We stayed during the week so it didn’t get too crowded but everytime I got in (2 or 3 times) it was dirty with bugs and tons of floating debris. It was hard to avoid the bugs and debris because it kept floating back around. The others things I didn’t like were that they don’t have room service and the room had a bit of a musty smell whenever you entered. We also found several pairs of a previous guest’s swim trunks in the dresser which made us question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned.

Very professional staff, elegant common area, many breakfast choices (loved the croissants). The hotel was very quiet and the beds were comfortable.

The pool is really just a small, sitting pool. No DECAF coffee! We also had a problem with the bed frames: they go around the whole bed, and we kept bumping into the corners. Maybe we were in a smaller room that made this more likely, I don't know. But my spouse came away with several bruises. The bathroom fan was quite loud and unavoidable if you turned on the light. Overpriced snacks and drinks for purchase in the room were a bother.

The room's size and appointments were good and the bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also very good.

Ventilation in the room was poor. There appeared to be no outside air drawn by the window heater/air conditioner. We couldn't see any other vents that brought in fresh air. For this reason our review score has been lowered. When we brought up the problem with the front desk they advised us to request a room with windows that open, in the future. If we had been staying longer than 1 night we'd have requested a room change.

Breakfast was fantastic! The rooms were lovely and spacious.

One of the outlets by my bedside did not work (not a big deal). Also, the location was a farther walk than I realized to the nearest metro station. The staff went either way - some of them were fantastic, but some made me feel guilty/bad for speaking English.
