Our stay here was amazing. I stayed with my wife for our anniversary and we loved every minute of it. The room was so much more than we could have expected, we couldn't believe it when we walked though the door. The extra large bed and bath were just cherries on top of the cake. The bars great, it had a vibrant atmosphere with some really friendly characters. We both had lamb and were impressed again. The staff there are what made the stay for us. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and kind. We ended up just staying in the bar all night apart from a walk to Gelerts grave under the stars. The village itself has no comparison. Heaven is real and it's up there in Snowdonia. We'll be back for my wifes birthday in a few months and already can't wait! If you're looking for luxury, in paridise, at good rates look no further.

Lovely stay in Beddgelert, quiet, clean, comfortable room (superior twin). Great shower over bath tub. Generous, tasty breakfast included in price; enjoyed one morning the bio-live yoghurts produced locally and the Welsh breakfast the next morning; I feel like I should mention the coffee as it was really nice and I don't say that often ;) The restaurant boosts a warm atmosphere; I enjoyed the seafood basket and my partner found the double burger delicious and ... rather gigantic! ;) The staff were really friendly and helpful. Looking forward to stay here again on our future Wales adventures.

Small car park at the back; it does get full if arriving late, so we needed to be a bit "creative" around it every evening - we managed to park in it eventually. Also, we found check-out a bit too early (10:00am) as breakfast is between 08:00-09:30am anyway, so we felt a bit rushed. Truth is we weren't pushed to leave on time - but probably would have been less stressed with a later check-out.

Room very spacious with a nice clean modern design. Comfortable bed. Nicely finished bathroom. Powerful shower. Large bath. Room had everything necessary. Excellent location. Tasty breakfast. Dog friendly. Wonderful staff who were very helpful.

One small improvement could be some more sustainable products/practices. The milk for the room comes in single use glass bottles, and the ketchup in the restaurant is all in little plastic sachets. There also didn't appear to be recycling of the breakfast cereal boxes. A minor thing, and perhaps these practices might be too difficult in North Wales but a possible improvement could be made here.

Staff were really accommodating. We'd just completed the 3 Peaks and needed to crash out asap Sunday morning and they turned over our rooms from the previous guests as quick as they could so we could sleep. They then kept the darts/pool room open for us to celebrate that night when usually it'd be closed up - just give us the best experience!

Breakfast though really good could have had the options printed out. We were told we could have whatever we liked but it wasn't communicated what that exactly meant!

Lovely, helpful staff and beautiful, dog friendly room with a nice view. Quality furnishings. Good breakfast & dog made welcome too! The village is gorgeous & location is in the heart of the countryside.

Everything was very lovely - it was just rather more expensive than we usually pay for this type of room but we were booking fairly last minute & needed somewhere dog friendly so had limited choice. I would recommend this hotel other than the price....

A value for money hotel, bar and pub grub in the heart of Snowdonia so if you're looking for a country hotel this isn't for you. This was our third visit and we have never been disappointed. Good choice at breakfast, friendly staff and the hotel was clean throughout. Quiet nights sleep, just what I needed after a day walking.

There isn't much not to like unless you're looking for a spa hotel. If I'm being over critical I would suggest they need more staff serving a breakfast. Breakfast is from 8 until 9.30 but I guess most guests want to get out and explore the area as soon as possible. Consequently most go down for breakfast at 8 meaning that the server and kitchen are very busy. That is being over critical and the server was friendly and being as efficient as he possibly could with several guests arriving at the same time for breakfast.

The property was furnished very tastefully and in good order. It was nice and clean and the facilities were good. We had booked an evening meal in the restaurant which was served in reasonable time considering how busy they were. It was well presented and cooked to a high standard, as was breakfast the next morning. The high point of the stay were the staff. We were greeted by Rachel and another young lady who were both very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I stayed at The Saracens Head before and will definitely stay again.

The location was perfect for staying at whilst going on adventures to climb up Snowdon. Staff were so friendly and full of advice and recommended some nice places to go and visit whilst there in Wales. We stayed in room 10 and it was a lovely size (wish my bedroom at home was this big) The room was very warm, but nothing you can’t sort out with opening up a few windows if it’s not your thing. The food at Saracens Head was all exceptional! REAL FOOD like hearty home cooked meals. I loved that breakfast time had no menu’s, you could ask them to make what you wanted. I will miss the food for sure! WE WOULD STAY AGAIN!

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was lovely, generous portions, well cooked & fresh produce. The room was classy & very comfortable & clean. The tea tray had everything; lovely biscuits and a selection of teas & coffees. The hotel was lovely throughout, really fire, cosy with a good bar and fantastic staff. 2nd time we have stayed here & will definitely come again. A beautiful hotel. Such a friendly place, you can really relax here. The Food was excellent and the Bed, although looked like it had seen some action, was really really comfy. Even though the poor owners had just witnessed a 14-68 drubbing in the rugby , they still had a smile.

Difficult to find fault, seperate Bathroom across the hall but there is no way to change that with the way the building is. I suppose you could use the Office next door and combine them.
