We have a family room, queen and single beds. Both were very comfortable and there was plenty of room. the service was excellent. the pub frontage is being restored but never impacted on our stay as rooms are away from the pub area. The manager is lovely and helpful. There is free usage of washing machine, which is an added bonus. I would definitely stay here again and recommend others choose to stay here. Clean, tidy and great value for money.

Before I arrived, I called Caroline, the assistant manager, to tell her that I was leaving Mt. Isa, and wouldn't be at the hotel until after 7.00pm. She told me to take my time, as the road between the two cities can be dangerous. When I arrived, all the members of staff were friendly and helpful. I dined at the venue both nights. The staff continued to be friendly and efficient. The food was very good. I also noticed that Caroline was watching the dining room. There was a table with mother, father and two young boys. Caroline invited the boys over the the play area of the dining room. This had the effect of giving the parents some quiet time and also keeping the boys occupied, thus contributing to the comfort of the other diners. I believe that Caroline could be an excellent manager/supervisor in any large city hotel.

We booked the disability room as we have mobility issues but don't use a wheelchair. The room would be perfect for someone in a wheelchair as it is purpose built and very roomy. It had all we needed. The restaurant's food was good, and they had a good Senior's Menu. They also provided a free laundry.

The alcohol was very pricey.

I really appreciate it when we find a clean, comfortable, friendly, value-for-money hotel/motel in towns that struggle to flourish in the Outback, so was very pleased. We arrived late and I expected to have to 'find' the key and details, etc., but the staff were super friendly and efficient, and we were in our lovely room in no time! Great shower, too!

We love our stay. It was exactly what we needed and all 19 of our children and grandchildren loved it as it was easy to everything in Cloncurry. The managers and staff looked after all of us exceptionally, and it felt like staying with family as my always loved staying here too.

No plates and no wash up supplies however it was explained to us that these items always get taken so reason they stopped supplying

Spacious room with excellent lighting and fabulous 3 way bathroom. Has all the facilities that you need. Loved sitting up on the ergonomic chair to eat breakfast at the counter. Ground floor room in a two storey building with the only window being on the eastern side and that window is shielded from the sun by the fact that the parking space outside it is undercover under the overhanging first floor, means that room would be lovely and cool in summer. Doesn't need heating at night in winter either due to thick brick walls. All in all very well designed. Enjoyed dinner at the hotel in their large dining room. Reasonable variety on the menu and dinner cooked promptly. Very civilized. Motel is on the other side of the block from the hotel.

ABC channel on the TV kept breaking up but that may not be the motel's fault.

Really liked the friendly service with a smile and the meals at the restaurant.

Didn’t like mould on wall tiles in the shower and sliding doors would get stuck. Had to shimmy every time we go in and out to bathroom and toilet.

Rory at reception & in the bistro was fabulous made us feel welcome. Food was great and quick

Not the property’s fault but the power went out in middle of the night, that was the only downside of our stay

The rooms were perfect and the disability access was second to none. Such clean, comfortable rooms.

Leaving, the hotel was just lovely and I could've stayed a lot longer if I wasn't on my way to Brisbane.
