Free sauna was just great. The appartement had everything and the location was pretty good for us - only 20 minutes by car to Joensuu and 50 minutes by car to Koli. If you come by car, you might also appreciate that there is a petrol station next door. The next supermarkets are in Kontiolahti (a short drive), and then there is a Lidl when you enter Joensuu.
All descriptions in Finnish is a very bad start for a motel that wants to attract tourists from all over the world and aims for an international flair (as expressed by flags from a dozen countries in the hallway). Just a short text with key information in English and Finnish would be a good start, for example re recycling. The plastic key is not always straight forward, and - apart from the petrol station - there is not a lot at walking distance, so don't even think about coming without a car.

The room was confortable, spacious and enough clean. No noise outside so we had a good sleep. Position was ok for us: we were by car and we were transferring from North to South Finland.
Maybe too hot in the room. Air conditioning was not cooling and we cannot open the windows because outside people we're making BBQ and there were too smoke.

Clean, fully equiped kitchen. Nice shower. Spacious. Excellent and free sauna. Friendly host. Flexible check out. Wish we could stay longer.
A bit cold in the room - no way to turn up heating. Cold air came through the windows in both rooms
