We loved our stay at the St MoRITZ . The quaint chalet with a great breakfast and so many people to chat with in the morning. It’s a great vibe. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The snack and complimentary wine in the evening was a nice addition as well. The beds were comfortable and the rooms was clean and quiet. The pool and steam room were perfect to warm up in after a day on the slopes. The bus stop to the mountain was close and convenient for us if someone wanted to have a mellow morning and come up a bit later. Parking was easy and we even saw some elk on the property in the late night hours. We were there during the xgames so our rate was a bit higher then normal but I’m sure if we visited during a not so busy time you could snag a bargain. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks Tom and crew for your hospitality and helping us feel right at home.

There wasn’t real anything I didn’t like. I would like to mention the staircases are narrow and if you have a lot of gear there aren’t elevators to get up but we had no problem getting everything to the room.

Very charming little hotel. Room was spacious and clean with a kitchen. Staff, seemed like possibly the owner were very friendly. Laundry in basement was convenient. Great value for one of the lowest rates available in Aspen.

Breakfast was bad, could have used less carbs and more real or hot food. The heated pool, while a lovely place to relax, could have been a few degrees warmer for more enjoyable soaking. It was lukewarm both times we tried it. The location is a tad far for walking to the slopes, I would instead recommend walking 2 blocks to main street and taking a free bus to any of the mountains, you can also take it from the airport.

My wife and I stayed at the Saint Moritz for five days. The facility and rooms were very clean and well maintained. Our room had a small kitchenette with everything you need including dishes, silverware, glasses and even a corkscrew. When we checked in the staff was very friendly and welcoming. And the owner, who lives nearby, was also there. There is a nice (and heated) swimming pool and a very clean steam room. Each morning, before your daily hike, we enjoyed a very good, and healthy breakfast in a very comfortable dining area. There was coffee served in the lobby each morning at 6 AM. There was a happy hour each afternoon at 4:30. There is also a BBQ grill that the owner lights up in the evening, if you want to cook your own meal and eat in your room. Dining out in Aspen is expensive! We truly enjoyed our stay and have absolutely no complaints. We would definitely stay there again, without hesitation.

All of the above--plus the great location in a quiet neighborhood, easy walking distance from great public transport and from all the action downtown. The staff was truly above and beyond: so welcoming, so kind, so helpful--truly a lovely group of people. Our room was awesome. I loved that we could open our windows for fresh air, that there was a desk to work on my computer--not to mention the cozy decor and the adorable tapestry of the hotel on the wall. And then there were the cookies and the wine . . . I didn't want to leave.

I have no suggestions. I just want to come back soon. How wonderful that the one affordable hotel we found in Aspen was also a terrific place! Just keep doing what you're doing! (If anyone DIDN'T like the Kamala signs, allow me to balance that person out. We were thrilled to see them, and it added to our sense of welcome at a terrifying juncture in our country.)

OMG!! This place is like walking into an old-school family hotel that opens their arms wide and sucks you right in. We. Loved. It! The rooms are a little dated, but well maintained and some appointments are definitely new (bathroom was newly remodeled). Play all day in Aspen and beyond, then relax in the heated pool with jacuzzi jets and free happy-hour wine before your dinner destination. It's not right downtown, but the walk is easy and gives you a chance to see what the locals are like. They bike like Europe, so pay attention to that. We made food in the kitchenette and the fridge helps keep your visit costs down. We would stay here anytime, summer or winter!!

The kitchenette stuff is dated, but totally functional. Not much else. If you are not accustom to a European breakfast spread, you will learn. Otherwise, we loved it.

The staff (especially Tom) was exceptional! They were so helpful and informative. We didn’t use it, but the pool / giant hot tub looked inviting. The continental breakfast was super convenient.

Not a knock on the property at all but our neighbors were very loud… 4 wake ups between 1 and 3 AM finally prompted my husband to knock on their door and ask for turn down on the volume. He wasn’t expecting the door to be wide open to a room full of young women half dressed! But after he paid a visit the noise level went down significantly.

The mountainside view from pool and patio was nice, better than being stuck in the middle of the town listening to traffic. Tom was very helpful during our stay, giving us great pointers on where/what to do and always greets with a smile. The bathroom was clean and well stocked with amenities. The breakfast had fresh fruit, meat, cheese, and enough other items to satisfy a picky eater. The warm fireplace was a perfect spot to relax during après happy hour.

While the bed was very comfortable, it was broken down some from being used as a chair.

Tom and Clarisa were the only team members we engaged with. They are great hosts. The continental breakfast is outstanding. From fresh-squeezed orange juice to bagels + bread options for toast, to berries, yogurt; even 4 cold cereal options and oatmeal, the options are plentiful. It was also pleasing to learn that the 100° pool is uncovered and ready to use each day by 3p. The lobby is warm/inviting. Afternoon wine, popcorn, and festive snacks are available.

Learned upon arrival that our room was on the hostel floor w/shared bathrooms. First response: What?! Tom and Clarisa put great effort into a room move for the next day. Meanwhile, our observation of the hostel floor showed a very clean, bright shared bathroom w/amenities. We were pleasantly surprised by our peaceful night's sleep and decided that, since it was only a 2-nights stay, we'd stay put. We'll be calling to reserve a condo room for our next visit ;-)

Excellent location, nice courtyard, pool available,

Woman at reception desk didn't seem very accommodating on accommodating my arrival at 1pm after a long flight. She indicated that the room wouldn't be ready until 2 or 2:30 Rather than suggesting places I could temporarily wait/rest at the hotel (e.g. lobby lounge, outdoor patio) or at least change my clothes, she simply said I should leave and come back in an hour. :-( Male receptionist on second day in the AM was much more hospitable and considerate. Room is sparse with few amenities.

Breakfast was not expected but it had everything to meat the breakfast criteria. The room was very comfortable....I slept well.I walked to the events that I was attending about 7 to 10 blocks away...I had gotten winded but did not realize that it was't the walking. 2 days later I figured it out that it was the altitude of the city.

I wasn't used to the shared bathroom...but it was very clean. And I survived since it was nevercrowded at the same time. Probably next time a rental car might have been better.
