We love this place! This was the second time we stayed here, a repeat of our spring break trip last year. This time, my daughter joined the previous group of my teenage granddaughter and friend and my 8-year-old grandson and me. First of all, the apartment is perfect! It has a LARGE open kitchen/dining/living room with sofa bed and two spacious bedrooms and baths to one side. There is also a balcony that can be accessed both from the living room and one of the bedrooms. The facilities at the resort are great, too. There is a heated pool with a basketball hoop on one side of the lagoon and adjacent to the main lodge, there is a larger unheated pool, a hot tub, a ping pong table, and a large connect four game. You can get tokens at the desk for food to feed the turtles from the bridge across the lagoon. There are also alligators in the lagoon. In fact, a mama alligator had just hatched 7 babies while we were there, but they had to make sure no one got too close to her. There is no restaurant on the property, but you don't need one because you're only steps away from the restaurants at Coligny Plaza and along the main road (Pope Ave.). There's also a large grocery store (Piggly Wiggly) at Coligny Plaza along with lots of shops and fun things for kids to do. You're also an easy walk to the beach, but if you have things to carry, like our rented umbrella and chairs, you can call the free shuttle. There is also a fabulous playground across Pope Ave called Lowcountry Celebration Park. My grandson even found some school friends here by chance!

We loved it all! The perfect apartment in the perfect location!

It was a beautiful property with a beautiful wooded look out the back windows. Very spacious very comfortable for up to six people. And you can fit eight if you can find anybody who wants to sleep on a pullout sofa.

The three bedroom villa we had was very spacious inside, but had hardly any balcony. You could barely fit four people on it when the entire room would hold up to eight. Friends of ours had a one bedroom very nice and a balcony you could put 15 people on so I’m not sure what’s up with that. You might want to double check how big the balcony is if you’re a balcony person. The only complaint I could have on our room itself the iron and board was crap and unusable, and there were no beach towels, even though our friends had beach towels in their room so double check your amenities as well prior to arriving.

The location was excellent. The staff extremely helpful and friendly. The condo view was scenic. The main pool is visually attractive with a waterfall within the pool area. The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo provided ample well-designed space for a longer stay.

The beds are uncomfortable. Updated newer mattresses would be great. The condo furniture upholstery needs to be cleaned or updated to promote more cleanliness of the condo units. As well, the condo carpet should either be cleaned or replaced with suitable flooring to show that the hotel is seriously committed to a cleaner environment for guests.

We had a perfect 3 bedroom located at 5715 right across from the pool and the walkway to the Umbrella pool was next to the parking door exit. This is our 4th time visiting this location. Love how everything is accessible just by walking. Expecting another grand baby by December so hopefully will be back in a couple of years.

Same old complaints People come down and reserve pool chairs with towels and then leave so when your looking for a place by the pool we had to walk to a different pool for seating. Parking some days was tuff to find if you came back late at night.

It was more than expected! Facilities were clean, staff was friendly and would bend over backwards to assist you. The room on the 5th floor was great! We'd eat breakfast at sunrise and view starlit skies in the evening. There were lots of things to do from mini golf (Pirate Island) just down the road to watching live bands and the local eatery (The Sandbar)

That our vacation had to come to an end and we had to leave!

We were very happy in our Waterside apartment. The rooms were big and clean, everything was in very good condition. We used the washing machine and drier and that worked very well. The pools are nice and clean. We walked to the beach from the resort and rented bikes in close vicinity to the resort. A supermarket is also close by.

The AC didn't cool down the whole apartment. (We had to close the door to the bedroom for the nights as the ice machine makes ice cubes the whole time and the "clonk" from the falling ice irritated us). Minor issue...

My husband and I loved Waterside by Spinnaker Resorts! Our one bedroom was so spacious! The resort is in the perfect location for walking to the beach or to the Coligny Plaza. The amenities were amazing. Great pool area with ping pong, checkers, corn hole, and a hot tub. We loved the nature around the resort that makes you feel secluded even with being so close to shopping! We will definitely be coming back!

Fantastic location. Two blocks from beach, one block to pavilion with lots of shops, restaurants and a grocery store. Resort was close proximity to lot of golf courses and Harbor Town. The units were very spacious ( we had a two bedroom two bath) and clean. Property had a few essentials such as dish soap, dishwasher detergent, toiletries , one coffee pack which was nice.

Honestly I can’t think of much . The hot tub was out of service for half the stay but that didn’t bother me.

The room was amazing with alot of space for our family. The location is great to shops and the beach. Also had great things throughout the day to do at the pools.

The gym could be upgraded a bit to small for use. Would love to either have another hot tub or bigger one ( always super busy). Also maybe the big pool be heated as well.

We love the Hilton head area, close to the beach and restaurants. The comfort of the villa was great. Villa was well equipped with everything we needed.

The pillows were a little hard and full, it cocks your head up uncomfortably. The rear bedroom shower had no hot water. The coffee make did not have a value to stop the coffee flow during brewing if you wanted a cup of coffee before the brew cycle was finished.
