Staff were friendly and helpful - there was a little shop and cafe where we could pick up snacks and get tourist info. We stayed in the 2 bedroom units with another couple. Bedrooms each had a tv and aircon which was already cooling our rooms on upon arrival. There was a big table outside with a ceiling fan which we used for breakfast and some boardgames in the evening. Outdoor shower and washing line with pegs was appreciated. Pool was nicely set up and clean - we took a few cans of beer to have by the poolside in the afternoon before dinner. Would recommend the Banyan restaurant down the road!

From the checked-in, Alice was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, made you feel very welcome. Swimming Pool was very clean and a good size for relaxing in the heat. Location for the accommodation cabins are very well thought out, giving privacy and quiet while surrounded by the trees. Cabins are very clean and comfortable, with all the utensils you need for a great stay No Wi-Fi or phone service made it an ideal get away.
On site shop was not open in the evening, need to make sure you are prepared, otherwise its a drive back in to Batchelor

Litchfield Tourist Park is in a great location, close to all the waterfalls in the national park. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. The cottage was cosy and well-equipped with everything we needed. They offer breakfast and packed lunches, but you’ll need to order early. Snacks and drinks are also available for purchase within the park. Honestly, it’s one of the best places we’ve stayed in the area. Highly recommended!

When looking for accommodation in Batchelor there was actually not a lot to choose from. Our expectations based on the booking.com site were not very high, but the two-bedroom bungalow we had was actually very nice and much better than we expected. We had two very spacious bedrooms and a large bathroom (incl. shower) and in addition an outside shower. The cafe only served breakfast and lunch (excluded from booking) and we had both. It was quite basic but very good. Location was probably the best you could get from getting into Litchfield NP.
Nothing.

The location was great. We had taken snack type food with us but we missed the 10.00 deadline to order a food or BBQ pack. We drove into Batchelor to see what was available but decided we would make do. Think we could have made better use of information given to us about where to eat etc. The lady receptionist was very welcoming and helpful so if you go, ask more questions about availability of food!
It was peaceful but maybe just a bit dark under all the vegetation. Think we were thinking it may mean lots of mosquitoes but we were wrong. We were also given mosquito coils to burn so not a negative.

Loved our stay here. Beautiful location and grounds. All cabins and camp ground surrounded by trees, providing shade everywhere. Lush green lawns for kids to run around on. Pool to cool down in was great. Our cabin was really clean, well equipped. Super cozy bed, blinds/curtains make rooms lovely and dark. Coffee from cafe was really good. So impressed with our stay
Pool would benefit from some shade over it from afternoon sun.

The two bedroom Ringer cabin was as described. We were so grateful for hot water and a private bathroom at the end of the day after exploring Litchfield Park!
The bungalow was not insulated so it was really cold by the morning. Also the private BBQ pit was not cleaned (and no kitchen towels were provided) so we had to spend some time cleaning up before we could use it. No toiletries other than bar soap provided so please bring your own shampoo etc.

Our overnight stay in our Stockman's Cottage at the Litchfield Tourist Park was one of the highlights of a one-month adventure in Australia. We would highly recommend it as a base to explore the Litchfield area due to its location right on the entrance to the National Park. It is an easy drive in a standard car along sealed roads to all of the main Litchfield Park sites, including the Termite Mounds, Florence, Wangi and Tolmer Falls and the Buley Rockhole, and Berry Springs closer to Darwin. We received a warm, laid-back Northern Territory welcome on our arrival, and enjoyed a very nice cheese and ham toastie, even though the kitchen had closed. Breakfast next morning was hearty, home cooked and delicious. We especially enjoyed cooking bbq sausages and halloumi on the veranda in the evening, which we enjoyed with fresh garden salad, purchased from the main reception, and chilled cans of beer; simple pleasures but all the more precious as a result. Our one-bedroomed cottage (number 6) overlooked the fields and woodland, and we loved watching the wallabies coming out to feed on the grass in the cool of the evening. We wished we could have stayed one night more to really get the benefit of this quiet, relaxing homestead, and if we are ever in the Northern Territory again we will return.
We loved everything1

The stockman’s style cottage was clean & roomy enough for a couple of nights, liked that you could cook on the little verandah as they had a bbq plate & prep table there & it meant you didn’t have to trek in the dark to camp kitchen or cook in the room… comfy bed tho only a double, nice crisp sheets, good pillows & aircon & fan. Very approachable down to earth owners/managers staff. Good location- right at start of the road to all the lovely things to experience in Litchfield National Park. They sold coffee (important to me as I can’t operate until I’ve had a proper coffee in the morning!) be aware tho, that you need to bring supplies for your dinners at very least as if you’ve got a hire care you can’t drive between sundown & sunset & they don’t serve food after 2pm, you can however order basic meal kits ahead of time.
Walk in dark on gravel road to ablution block, but they did supply a torch so was fine.

Reception was friendly and efficient. We had preordered dinner to cook on the BBQ. That worked well. Our hut comprised a small ensuite and outdoor covered deck. The room was clean inside and screened. The ensuite was clean but looked very tired, particularly the shower.
The campsite roads were unsealed so dust blew around, including onto our deck which looked dirty as a result. The gardens near our hut also looked very unkept.
