The position is wonderful. Very peaceful. The room was quite small, but adequate enough for two. The bathroom was super, modern and great shower. The ( shared ) balcony was great, although we didn’t have to share it as there was no one else staying in a room upstairs. The view was of the mountains and the evening sun was lovely. The gardens are beautifully tended, bursting with flowers. The breakfast was served in the garden, and was amazing…..fresh cherries, apricots, bread, yogurt, and preserves. Nena had made some fabulous savory and sweet pastries and cakes, which were scrummy. The village is tiny, but it was a fabulous place to stay.

One of the standout aspects of my stay was the incredible value for money. The rates were reasonable, especially considering the quality of service, the cozy rooms and the delicious homemade breakfast. I felt like I got more than what I paid for, which is always a great feeling for a traveller on a budget.

I had the pleasure of staying at Guesthouse Agios Germanos during my recent trip and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. Located in the charming Agios Germanos village, this 19th-century stone-built guesthouse offered a perfect blend of tradition and comfort. High recommended!

Rarely that a hotel deserves the full 10 points, this is one that does. Located in a court yard of beautiful old houses, perfectly renovated preserving the historical style and atmosphere. Utmost clean, everywhere. Garden and flowers treated with ambition. Staff absolutely service oriented, Christina, Sophia, and all others without any exemption. Breakfast served with full variety of local mostly home made food, and each day another kind of cake. Restaurant less than 100 m away. Prespa national park info centre around the corner in neighbouring street. Ask the hotel for the Prespa hiking tour guide, with detailed maps, route suggestions, and explanation of nature, geology, history, and all you will discover about this impressive region.

The border to North Macedonia is 3 km away, but closed since decades. You need to make a tour around of 150 km and 3 hours by car to visit the Northern part of the bigger Prespa lake.

I felt safe and comfortable during my entire stay. The homemade breakfast served at the hotel was a highlight of my stay. From delicious pies to mouthwatering marmalades and herbal tea, I felt like a culinary adventure. Definitely I'll be back for more!
