The hotel felt new and was very clean. The staff at both check-in and check-out were very friendly and helpful. The attendant at check-in let me know that parking in the street was free and where to go. The free breakfast was the best one on my 10-day trip (just stayed here 1 night). My favorite part was when I returned the electrical adapter (as I had left mine at home), I asked if the hotel sold them since it designed for all European and US/AUS connections and the attendant let me have it free of charge. That alone made me a customer of Mercure in the future.

Location in the centre, close to shops and to transport and the venue of the event that we came to Biel for. The hotel is nicely decorated. Welcoming staff. We booked a studio which was well-presented. Car park was full when we arrived but there were several parking possibilities nearby, which was convenient. Loved the breakfast spread!

The A/C noise at night. But it was not a big deal, we still slept soundly.

Perfectly cleans. Modern style. Very friendly team. Sleeping Room is very well equipped. Clean. Despite close traffic outside, no noice in the room (perfect windows). Breakfast is fantastic in terms of wide choice of food and drinks, quality and presentation. We joined breakfast 9:30 am. Still whole choice of food and drinks presented. Price is ok given the value.

Safety box (battery) did not work and even though I informed the front desk about this right away, it was not repaired during my stay (4 nigths). Tried to cool down the room with AC with no success

Very kind and helpful staff, coffee machine in the Reception area (free of charge) and very good breakfast. My single room was nicely decorated and very comfortable and functional with all the necessary facilities, although a bit dark, as the window was a bit small. The hotel is located close to the shopping area and the old town of Biel.

Nothing really. Maybe on a bit expensive side but it is Switzerland.

The property is ideally located. It’s about a 15 minute walk from the train station. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the many shops and stores in the old town. The staff are very friendly and efficient. I stayed 3 times within a 3 week span of time and was able to check in early on all occasions. The rooms are clean, a good size, and well appointed. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything satisfactory. Location was perfect for returning to France. Easy access to center. Lake is a 2km walk. Give it a miss and hit the excellent bars

Room was a bit small. Receptionist didn't seem comfortable checking in a tired motorcyclist.

Modern and practical

Our room was not ready when we tried to check in after 3pm. We were advised it was in fact still occupied

Modern and functional, good window soundproofing, close to the commercial area and the old town, within easy reach of station (several bus lines nearby). Front desk was kind enough to let me have a room early (with an upgrade) to store my things while I went hiking in the hills.

I chose this hotel for the airconditioning, given the heat outside. It was more of a centralised ventilation system, it certainly never brought the temperature to the set level. It was better than nothing though and I still managed to sleep comfortably enough.
