Excellent location just a block away from the train station. Everything was very clean. Check-in was a breeze. The highlight of the time there was the staff. They were so helpful! One time I was asking where I could get extra cream packets for coffee and within four minutes, they had brought some up to the room. Another time my wife and I had purchased a cheesecake and we’re looking for a plate and some silverware, Again they brought them up to the room within five minutes for us. It was exceptional service.

The room needs to be repainted, there were scuff marks on the walls from furniture and things.

The hotel is across the street from the Haneda airport bus which is very convenient if you have large suitcases!There are many shopping options close by including DonQuiote, Uniglo, and department stores as well as places to eat. I liked they provided a soft and hard pillow and that the beds were comfortable.

Kichijoji is a little far from eastern Tokyo sites. If you are an early riser or one that sleeps in, it’s easier to miss the morning commute. Kichikoji is a great place to stay if you are interested in exploring western Tokyo! Highly recommend.

Excellent location and wonderful staff! Our luggage was delivered to the hotel before we arrived and staff placed the luggage in our room which was a wonderful surprise after a long day of travel. Staff was also very helpful when asked about nearby locations and hotel amenities. The location is great for a first/last night in Japan as there’s a direct limousine bus to and from Haneda that leaves from the station less than 2 blocks from the hotel. Kichijoji is also a great area in Tokyo.

The rooms are a little small and dated

I booked this hotel for my parents, and they told me that they had a pleasant stay here. The room was clean and comfortable, and they liked the location (very close to Kichijoji Station). They also said that the breakfast was really good and kept them full until late afternoon. They also appreciated having access to all the different beverages in the lobby area. The staff were also more than happy to help us when we couldn't use one of the power outlets to charge their phones. They quickly provided us with a power extension cable to resolve the issue.

Affordable & surprisingly well-appointed budget option right by Kichijoji Station South (park) exit. Excellent access to shops, eateries, bars, a fabulous French bakery & bistro (Epee) down the road, and of course the beautiful park and lake. Prompt, friendly service & a good view over Tokyo if you're high enough. Rooms are small but well designed, never feeling cramped.

Not (well) soundproofed between rooms, particularly bathroom sounds & cleaning. But quiet for the most part & well insulated from outside noise.

Very close to JR train stations and within easy walking distances to many shops and restaurants in Kichijoji. Rooms are small as its a Japanese business hotel but enough for my purposes. Clean and functional and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I have stayed in this hotel countless of times since 2007 and will continue to stay here when I am on business trips or even pleasure trips just to be in Kichijoji

Some of the rooms were renovated and looked more modern but some still remain the old style ones with beige wooden paneling. These rooms look dated compared with the renovated ones. I wonder why they did not renovate all the rooms

Perfect location

I have stayed here many times over the last 10 years. Location is perfect for us but each time I stay there I can't help but think how badly designed the interior of the rooms are. The fixed furnishings don't allow for any room to lay open one suitcase let alone two. The twin beds are so close together that if you drop something between, good luck retrieving it. The chairs and table are all mismatched. The large office-type chair at the centre on wheels is the ultimate obstacle to moving around the room. The safe is badly positioned. The faux timber door covering the fridge door is unneccessary and provides yet another obstacle to be negotiated. So fix all this before I come back again and I will be very pleased.

Staff was super friendly, especially with our very late check-in due to a major flight delay. Breakfast was stellar with the typical Japanese options, but some Western choices, too. Proximity to trains made it easy to get to downtown Tokyo or further out west with great ease.

The room was clean and big enough, but the hotel could use a slight re-fresh. It wasn't dirty or unclean, but is definitely a hotel that shows its age.

Location is perfect. KICHIJOJI has lots to offer : drugstore, convenience stores, eateries, at least 4 supermarkets. Lots to eat at night when you come in late. It’s just a few steps from the train station and bus stop for the airport coach to Haneda Airport. Rooms are a good size, I’ve stayed in smaller ones in Tokyo. Lobby has free coffee, tea and soup ( although didn’t try the soup, it’s likely a consume ).

We enjoyed the good location of the hotel, 2min walk from the Kichijoji station (direct line to Shibuya) and there are a lot of restaurants around. The staff is friendly and can speak English. The breakfast buffet is amazing. The hotel has its own parking lot (paid service) that's very convenient. Not far from the Ghibli Museum and from a very nice park with a zoo and a pond.

The rooms are quite small but it's ok for a short stay (all the same in Tokyo I guess!). The breakfast buffet is amazing but quite expensive if not included in the room fees.
