Superb boutique hotel in an exceptional location, litterally on the beach of Beau Vallon. Just cross the garden with the pool, open the gate, and you are on the beach, 20 meters from the water at 30 °C ! Very friendly and at the same time discreet staff. Each morning, our room was cleaned up while we were hzvbing breakfast. We had a Deluxe Ocean View room which was really large, with large ensuite bathroom and nice terrace. There are only 7 rooms in the hotel (plus some in the adjacent villas), so you really feel more like in a luxurious guesthouse than in a hotel. We had diner buffet one night in the hotel, which was really good. Everything is made locally in the open kitchen. There are lots of places to dine out on the beachfront of Beau Vallon, for all budgets.

Not much to say, actually. Maybe the Wifi could be a little stronger in the room, but really not a big deal.

- more like an AirBnB with a caretaker - one type of breakfast daily (make sure you ask for cheese and meats otherwise they will not serve it for you) - no TV’s in the rooms - no minibar

- Location, beach and closeness to restaurants and bars - Hotel setup, pool, room look and size, balcony towards the ocean - The deputy manager was lovely

- Bathroom situation, just a thin curtain offering no privacy whatsoever. Nice bathtub, probably best for a couple, as long as you do not mind peeing with smb else in the room. - Windows in the room towards the corridor with the light always on. - No toiletries, a hodge-podge of varying bottles, sizes, looks, quite cheap for the feel of the hotel - No milk or sugar left for the 2 capsules of coffee left each day. No tea or other drinks besides one bottle of water that was not filled every day - Cleaning schedule - while we were still in and out of the room so we were constantly in each other’s way - Internet although it working well the first couple of days was very unstable

Just a footstep away from the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and the local market.

The see through curtain dividing the room from the bathroom, no door to separate then, and the lack of a TV set or even a radio.

Location is more than perfect, just to steps to the most of the bars and restaurants, the property its amazing and the staff also, Mr.Petr he helped us with early check in . Overall i like it and i give it 8/10

The only 2 things why i rated this stay 8/10 is the AC, we faced some issues regarding the AC it was cooling but also it was leaking sometimes and the fan is so noisy, the second thing its the bed and the mattress, its not comfortable and the mattress its so slim which will you will not feel comfortable. These are only the 2 things and i hope they will fix it cause we definitely gonna go back there .

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Chateau Elysium during the Seychelles Maritime Week, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality of the staff made me feel welcome and at home. The property itself is stunning, with beautifully designed rooms that offer breathtaking views of the lush surroundings and the ocean. Each morning, I was treated to a spectacular sunrise that set the perfect tone for the day. The amenities at Chateau Elysium were top-notch. I particularly enjoyed the tranquil pool area, which provided a perfect escape after busy days filled with maritime activities. Location-wise, Chateau Elysium is conveniently situated, making it easy to explore nearby attractions and beaches. Whether you want to relax on the sandy shores or engage in water sports, everything is just a stone's throw away. Overall, my stay at Chateau Elysium exceeded my expectations. The combination of luxurious accommodations, attentive service, and beautiful surroundings made it the ideal retreat during my time in Seychelles. I can’t wait to return!

Several facilities in the room were not repaired. The safe didn’t work The curtains are heavy and transparent to light in the morning.are stuck and not moving. There is NESPRESSO machine but not anything else like tea suger and milk. They serve you if you ask. With a little improve this can become a 5 star boutique hotel - now it is not value the money due mainly the room maintenance

The location is just perfect. Room - terrace - pool - beach - sea ... all within 60-70m. Just can t beat that. 7 rooms in the property makes it feel like a small family pension which is basically it. Peter the manager was friendly, but he was kind of lost ... he could not get us rental cars, or any extra service what we needed.

Breakfast. If you don't like eggs you are out of luck. There is always the same breakfast, which is annoying. Eggs, half pancake, bowl of fruits/always identical/ 1 yoghurt/always the same/ coffee, juice. And that is it. No salami, no cereals, nothing. We asked the waiter and he said nothing else is available, and the manager last day told us that they have why we didn't ask. We did... other people were complaining to him about it, so he promised he will serve something else, but we left already... Cats are a problem at breakfast too, really annoying.

The location is great, best in Mahe. Highly recommend to book this! Nice and cosy small villa with beautiful pool side. We just loved it! Breakfast is great, served to table (only minus, that it's a bit slow as only one person handles everything, but you are on Holiday :))

I would give 10/10 for everything, but there are those small things that I can't. Price was quite high for the quality, the furniture were a bit outdated/dirty, cabinet doors wouldn't close properly, pool was dirty, pool towels outdated, table cloths dirty/broken etc. These don't ruin the experience, but you notice them, when you pay a lot for the accommondation.

- Chabi was the person who helped us with everything during our stay and he was super nice and friendly! - The lobby was nicely decorated - Super close to the beach, and there were many nice restaurants and supermarkets nearby

- The facilities in our villa were extremely old and needed an upgrade- chairs were almost falling apart, nightstands were cracked, toilet seats were half-broken, the door couldn't be closed properly... etc. - The rooms felt like they were not being cleaned enough- dusts on the table and bedsheet, unknown black stuff (possibly lizard's poop) in the kitchen drawer, and there were HUGE COCKROACHES!!
