The property was in a superb location and the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly! Would definitely go and stay there again. The pool was AMAZING and you get an amazing eagle display most evenings as they fly in and around Aberdeen!

Some of the rooms/facilities could do with better upkeep and maintenance, however, it didn’t deter from our experience at all!

The location is good for visiting local beaches. The view from the room i was staying in was excellent over looking the sea. Did not book a room with breakfast so I can't comment on that, but I did have a meal in the hotel restaurant which was nice and tasty. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. Plenty of good restaurants in the area. All in all a good stay.

The first room they put me in was far from good, the toilet was badly stained, a bar of used soap was left for me to use , you could clearly see it had been used because it still had hair stuck to it , which is totally unacceptable. The in room safe was not in working order. Which is why they put me in another room, which was a lot better.

I usually stay here when I visit Freetown - it's hard to find a place that's more appealingly located, well kept, and well run in a reasonable price range. The restaurant is also quite good.

Internet is spotty, and it's a bit annoying when you end up staying at the bottom of the annex building... but these are all small issues. Overall, it's good value and a reliable place to stay.

The rooms are clean, the shower was good and the view is superb. I used the gym which was also fine. The electricity was constant and the a/c worked great. The staff were also helpful and friendly.

The pool was a little unclean. The breakfast is good but i found it a bit expensive.

The view is incredible and the staff is extremely welcoming. It's also located near the beach and nightlife. The food is impeccable. Just have only great things to say about this place.

Problem with the credit cards not being accepted by their terminal meant I had to spend 2 hours at a bank organising cash to pay for the stay. This would prevent me taking a return visit.

I've stayed several times at the Barmoi and I'm consistently pleased with the service. This time I traveled with my family and my children loved the pool and restaurant. Great value place just a short walk from Lumley Beach.

Staff were professional. Rooms were very clean. They have good food in the restaurant. They also have two nice swimming pools with one close to the ocean.

It's hidden. Getting transport from the hotel isn't easy.

The staff were extremely friendly and always willing to help. The location and view was exceptional. The hotel had a generator which was used everytime the light went off.

The hotel had a gym but it wasn't maintained too well. It had two pools but both were out of order at the time.
