The location was very convenient and I loved the aeroplane decor.

I had to ask for towels (staff assisted very quickly though!) and the TV remote wasn't working so couldn't access the TV. Also didn't enjoy paying R45 for parking.

The decor was food and the staff friendly.

That one needs to pay the airport parking fee every time one leave the premises….especially if you go in and out several times on a day, maybe they can arrange a daily parking ticket for guests.

Staff phoned to enquire about arrival time. Said we can take our time with dinner. Provided his Nr to phone if we come in too late. Offered us coffee. Was very very polite and friendly/ even with our late arrival at 11:30.

Only problem was the pillows. All 4 pillows the same- no option of softer pillow. But the quality of the linen was excellent. Will definitely book here again.

TV had terrible signal. No crockery to use in microwave. Not too important but might be useful for future guests to know.

Pissible to book and arrive late. Really good feedback and instructions in relation to late arrival time.

The male receptionist was pleasant and kind and so were the cleaning ladies. Parking was safe and near to entrance. The lodge did not serve breakfast over the weekend but gave us a voucher for the restaurant next door. It's a lovely place/restaurant (we had dinner there too) but the breakfast is average. I liked the Dakota 2nd floor lounge area where we could sit and chat with other guests (we were a big group parents and swimmers attending a gala at Delville pool). Every room had a microwave, a bar fridge and kitchen sink which was great as there are not "nice" shops nearby. The best place where there is a good food lovers market,checkers and dischem is at The Reef shopping centre 3.4km away. There is also a Virgin active nearby (nice &clean with lovely swimming pool).

The room (215) I stayed in was more expensive (though spacious) but not worth it. The TV screen picture was poor and no DSTV which was not a problem because we had Netflix however the wifi reception in 215 was poor! My daughter was in the room net door and she has better reception. I was however able to watch a movie on my cell phone in the lounge area. This room could work well for couple with a baby.

I really enjoyed the stay. I am a huge aviation lover, and the surroundings, including the planes, were really a wonderful surprise. It is in close proximity of everything. I would really recommend this place.

Breakfast unavailable over the weekend but restaurant next door was good for meals other than their breakfast. nice to see planes, decor was very suitable for the location. Some (particularly the after hours (staff) of the reception staff were friendly and accommodating and cleaning staff very pleasant and effective
