The place is great, more than an 8. It's really fine, it deserves my 9. What made it win and nearly a 10 is the amazing Host who is both personable and professional (and highly organized).

One has to get very picky to find fault in this establishment. The bathtub is absolutely gorgeous and the exhaust fan in the bathroom is loud and thus disturbing that Peace - other than this kind of a preference, a niggle most wouldn't even think about - the place is really great and the Host makes it so perfect - she and her staff care about giving the 4-Star Experience - if you want something sorted, ask and it's done right now.

Lovely guest house with good breakfast that you had to choose the night before and also the time you wanted to be seated. Very good location close enough to beach and can easily walk to cafes and shopping mall about 15 mins walk away. Quiet area and feels safe. Lovely cleaning staff.

Very steep steps to side of property that you have to climb to check in and also access breakfast room and front terrace. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues and it’s a struggle to get baby equipment up and down on a daily basis.

Erika is a wonderful host and so very friendly. My room was clean with everything I needed and must have been one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. Was wonderful and quiet with no noisy neighbour's keeping you up at night. Breakfast - very delicious, with an assortment of cereals, yogurt, fruit salad and a choice of warm breakfasts, coffee and tea - andwonderful as well that I had different time options available, so did not have to be up super early. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

There's nothing I did not like.

The guest house is a haven for anyone wanting a place which is clean, safe and comfortable. The Victorian Style rooms and atmosphere are just relaxing and majestic. It makes you feel like you are residing in a palace. Breakfast was excellent and very filling. Erika is the best host that one can ask you. You feel the warmth and hospitality to the point of excellence.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mt Bijoux! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The accommodation itself is stunning, offering a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. My room was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I could need. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service provided by Clara. She went above and beyond to ensure that my visit was memorable. Her local knowledge was invaluable, and she was always ready with great recommendations for places to visit and dine. Clara's friendly and professional demeanor made me feel right at home. The location of Mt Bijoux is also fantastic, providing easy access to beautiful surroundings and attractions. I particularly enjoyed the serene atmosphere and breathtaking views. Overall, I highly recommend Mt Bijoux to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway. A big thank you to Clara and the team for making my stay so special. I can't wait to return!

I was very impressed with the options given for breakfast, especially the on-the-go, as I had to be out and, on the road, early most mornings and would've missed breakfast. The on-the-go breakfast bag was 100% spot on, and would recommend other guests houses also to go that route

There really wasn't anything not to like. Friendly staff, comfortable room, and so close to everything.,

The location was good and we walked down to dinner which was pleasant. The Breakfast was excellent and as it was included in the cost of the room, it was very good value for money. Communication from the host was also spot on and appreciated.

very minor complaints but the aircon was not operational and the room was hot at night. the pillows were a little lumpy and the water pressure wasn't great, although we did receive communication around this in our room, so it wasn't a surprise and although my shower wasn't great, my husband had good pressure and a good shower. All in all a very pleasant stay and great value for money.

I only wished I had a shower in my room (that's just my preference). Mine had a bathtub, and my colleague had a shower. Other than that, the place was lovely. The host is very nice, breakfast was good, and a gorgeous view of the ocean while you enjoy breakfast. Great value for money. Would definitely stay again and recommend this place.

Just check on the shower vs tub in the room. Only 4 parking spots. So when fully booked, you may have to park on the side of the road

Beautiful location. Very safe area for walks and running. Close to the beach, 3 minutes walk to the beach. Close to MyCiti bus stop. MyCiti is Cape Town scheduled public bus service. The interior decoration of the rooms and breakfast area is elegant luxury. Rooms are large and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and perfect. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

I like this guesthouse and always book here when I come to Blouberg. I like the location. The rooms is very beautiful. The breakfast was very good

I don't like the fact that Blouberg is not that safe any more and that you have to be careful to not let the doors stand open etc, for the guesthouse is on the street.
