Have stayed here before and overall a nice experience. All was good and I was satisfied with all that was presented. Will stay here again.

Maybe little more flexible with book in times. As most people that stay here are traveling, sometimes you are an hour early and would like to book in. Specially if the room is not occupied. Also check out times should remain as what is on the website and not change with a note against the fridge that check out is an hour earlier due to busy season.

The host was extremely accommodating with our late check-in, and the location is in a peaceful area. The unit is well-equipped and features a comfortable bed. Complimentary coffee and milk were provided, and the parking is secure, conveniently located right in front of the unit.

It’s a bit set back from the main road, which makes it very quiet.

Karin contacted us while still on the way to give us directions. She met us on arrival and immediately made us feel welcome. The solar power supply during 'loadshedding' is a BIG plus. We stayed in Unit 3 and will, in future, ask to stay there again. We could not use the inviting braai facilities due to heavy rain, but it was a small price to pay in a drought-stricken area. The big bed and its bedding: what a pleasure!

Basically the only thing I do not like, is that we have to drive so far to get to this place. We had no complaints.

We like the king size bed. They also have electric blankets to keep you warm in the cold weather. It also has a very convenient location close to the freeway for onward travel with safe onsite parking. We also love the breakfast rusks that they leave in the kitchen.

The room with king size bed is not always available and difficult to select when booking online.

For a one-night stay and basic self-catering for dinner and breakfast the lodge met our expectations. It was our third visit to the lodge in 13 months which should indicate that we were previously satisfied. During electricity load-shedding all electrical appliances excluding the air-conditioner and all lamps were powered by the lodge. We felt our car was safe.

The kitchenette's implements were very limited and basic.

Free Wifi and each family room had an aircon and a TV with a lovely swimming pool to cool off after a long road trip. This accommodation was the best halfway stop to overnight when travelling between Cape Town and Johannesburg.

There is nothing I dislike..I would only suggest to provide an iron.

Absolutely an excellent location close to the N1 freeway and on the edge of the residential area below the Skietberg mountain. What a pleasure not be burdened by an emergency light in the unit because Solar power was available during loadshedding. We had a very comfortable stay over for one night and will certainly want to again make use of this establishment in the future.

Nothing to complain about.

We left our phone in the room and before we realized it was missing, the lodge phoned us to say the cleaning staff had found a phone in our room. They then kept the phone for us until we were able to collect it again. Good honest people. Room was great and will definitely stay over again.

Clean convenient, had all the neccecities for an over night stay. Appreciated The complimentary bath products, the mill and rusks were also greatly appreciated.

Not much but the bathroom sink had a slight leak that we noticed in the morning
