The effort that has been put into the positioning of each of the rondavels around a lovely grassed area of the rooms - sunset behind acacia trees🙂
Just note that if you want to eat from the menu advertised on their website you must advise in advance - disappointed as we were looking forward to a prego roll and the English breakfast. Not a big deal, just something to bear in mind.

The hut was fine, clean and fun to stay in! The shower was hot and the bed was very comfortable! Could use a bedside light, though, there were only two main ceiling lights
The WiFi stopped working after around 10 at night The staff seemed indifferent, and the facilities to cook yourself were not sufficient to cook; there was only one pot which was dirty.

The lodge itself was/is unique, exactly what we wanted to experience. The room was out of this world, clean and comfortable. The surrounding area, breath taking. The staff super nice...
We were hoping to get the breakfast but didn't, the ladies explained why. I wanted more, like, outdoor activities other than the Museum.

Unique experience. Comfortable stay. Would consider visiting again if in the area.
Staff member responsible for check in (only person we had contact with) was unfriendly, cold and apathetic. She made almost no effect at providing orientation to the property and facilities, and had to be asked numerous questions to obtain basic information.

We liked the place as a whole and the style of using rondawels as the accomodation...the staff was welcoming and friendly....the place was clean...we also used the braai area and we had a gryt time during braai session...
Breakfast must be improved.....rather serve full English breakfast..

The rooms are beautiful and clean. All the facilities work and the staff are so friendly. Staying in the little huts was so cool and the breakfast was delicious!
It would help if there were more fans as it is really really hot there or even a small pool.

The room was clean, the beds were ok, and the electric blanket was very helpful since the room was cold. The staff was friendly. We enjoyed our stay 😊. The younger ones were really excited to sleep ka guqa.
The room was too cold and I had to sit in bed for warmth, maybe a fan heater or air-conditioning would help. The driveway needs some love my car is very low.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The facilities were excellent and clean. Its close to all the battlefield experience (Tulana museum is next door). The food was really good home South African style and really well done with good portions.

Great authentic rooms. Amazing setting. Room cleaned every day with fresh towels. It is basic, which adds to the feeling of authenticity. Loved it and would retun. We were welcomed warmly. Check-in and check-out was simple.
The generator that kicked in during load shedding (power cuts) was directly behind our room, so advise not to book room 2. No shade for cars, so they are in direct sunlight.

The location is good. Very peaceful and unique. It is quite refreshing to be in this place
That the bathroom is not closed to the roof. In case one uses the loo, the odor will be all over the room. The bathroom must not interfer with the room. It should be sealed up to the top. Lastly it's also hard to find the place. Move the signage towards the road.
