The facilities were superb. The staff gave us a good welcome. The ambience in the room was relaxing. The animals also gave us a good welcome.

The breakfast was bad. Only bacon eating people were catered for. Muesli was the only thing available. Breakfast menu had few choices, that is was limited. If you wanted to exchange it was at an extra cost., And also the stay was a bit overpriced. Also no one told us prior that the restaurant was closed on the 24th for dinner.

The food was nice and the staff was friendly

the only problem was tunning the channels ion the TV. it was extremely difficult and i wanted to watch the news badly but for the whole weekend that i was there , i couldnt watch the news, if choosing a channel could be made simpler then that would complete the wonderful stay at Olivewood Hotel ..........Also i wish there could be an easy paved way through the lawn from the hotel rooms to the Conference centre and you didnt have to go right around

Olivewood is a very peaceful, lovely and aesthetically pleasing place to go to, super clean and the staff was also very friendly and their service is top tier. Their beds are super comfortable and the room decor looks very luxurious. The breakfast was delicious and is included in your booking which is very convenient. Its a very nice place if you need some quiet time away for yourself or for you and your partner.

1. gowns were not provided in the rooms. you pay an extra 250 just to get gowns. 2. no shower caps 3. no washing gels/ shampoo or conditioner. only got them after complaining. 4. resturant Staff was cool but reception staff needs a lot of work. 5. they need a Pool and a spa. desperately.

I loved everything about this place..This hotel is in an exquisite golf estate just outside the city of East London. The rooms are beautifully decorated with spacious bathrooms, the outside additional shower is a nice touch for sure The breakfast is excellent and included in the price..If you decide to have lunch, the prices are really unbelievable..

Outside shower amazing, taking a shower under the the stars loved it. Bed was spacious and comfortable. Fresh vegetables this place must have its own organic garden. The experience of waking up to wild life on your door step was out of this world. Friendly staff from the security at the gate to room service.

Meal variety.

Tranquility and peace of mind were what we were looking for, and we got them from Olivewood.

The road to Olivewood is very narrow and looks dangerous, especially if one drives at night.

The place is gorgeous

I left my sunglasses to the value of R5000 and whoever cleaned the room on my checkout day clearly did not declare my sunglasses.

The rooms were spacious, the bathroom and additional shower outdoors in particular are a standout. The view from the room out into the garden and the golf course beyond was nice. The location isn't very far from East London or Cinsta beach, there's also a game reserve just across the road. If someone is attending an event in East London and would like to stay in a tranquil environment surrounded by nature this is a good option.

The service at the restaurant was slow. The staff came across as inexperienced, likely because they are, with time they should improve. The restaurant has limited options and closes early. Room service and reception closed early. There was a problem with the WiFi codes for internet, needed to get new ones regularly. The sliding doors leading to the garden were difficult to lock, one day someone casually entered the room through them.

Loved the privacy, outside shower, and incredibly friendly and knowledgeable waiter…. It was my husbands birthday and he brought us each a complimentary shooter.

I did mention we were coming for my husbands bday. It would’ve been lovely to have complimentary champagne or chocolates in the room.
