Despite there being an electricity outage which lasted the whole night, the hotel staff managed to still provide breakfast for its guests. The hardworking staff and the hotel must be commended for that. The location is in the city centre so it’s great if you don’t have a vehicle.

Personally, the hotel should get rid of the carpets in the room 😁😁 and maybe replace it with large modern tiles in the room and bathroom. I liked the vanity in Room 5. Much better than the previous room I lived in before .

The Graham hotel is in a good location, easy to access Makhanda places of interest. The receptionist on duty was amazing, she's smiling & very welcoming, I think her name is Gwen🌼 The water temperature was good throughout the day. Well done Housekeeping for yò services throughout my stay. Kitchen staff members are glorious, always willing to please the guests. Well done 👏and the food is appetizing 👌

The carpets are dirty and have drench smell. I suggest the staff vacuum the carpets, using carpet powder, perhaps a day before client checks in or at the same day of arrival, to give the room that fresh smell, instead of stinking carpet. Since the hotel has stairs only, & no elevator, it would be great if the hotel hires potters to assist guests with luggage, both on arrival & check out. Your towels need some attention, to remove the dullness. They don't have a hotel status, perhaps Makhanda water cannot keep them white, I don't know, or you need a new laundrette or new towels.

Staff at the front desk were very responsive. They went out of their to organise and put an entire boardroom at my sole disposal so that I could have my online meeting in a quiet and conducive environment. They also made sure that noisy maintenance work was suspended during that time.

The room had no safety deposit box. And, some of the guests in the adjacent rooms were inconsiderately loud.

The service by the staff was excellent without exception. The hotel and the restaurant being linked together was also great because it was so easy to come and go. The menu was varied and the food was very well presented. The portions are generous and were too big for me.

The hot water was slow to come to the front when the shower was turned on. Probably five litres or more were wasted while waiting for the hot. If there was a basin in the room this water could be saved for use during the day. Makhanda is a water scarce town, and the brochure in the room reminds the guests of that.

Loved it , got a newly furnished room, made my stay very comfortable, hoping for the same next time ❤️

The staff are incredible! Nothing was too much for them, they helped carry our bags and so much more. Very impressed with the team at the front desk.

The bath tub was a little to high up and not safe for the elderly.

Very good hotel, very friendly staff. Everything was ok. The hotel prepared a take away breakfast for us as we had to leave very early the next morning and couldn't use the buffet.

Price, it was (too) expensive. The hight price evidently was because it was festival season.

The location is very central within the town.

The WiFi seems to be a problem with hardly any reception in the rooms
