The location is fantastic - we arrived in the evening and had a choice of places to eat and drink really close to the hotel. The staff made sure that we had all the information relating to the stay and couldn't have been more helpful. Waking up to the view of the sea was great and Harbour House made a great base for browsing around the town!

There wasn't really anything that we didn't like. Possibly a bit more information upfront about options at breakfast time could have made the experience a little quicker - but we were on holiday after all so what's the rush?!!

My stay at Harbour House Hermanus was simply delightful. Nestled in the heart of Hermanus, its location couldn't have been more perfect, offering easy access to all the charming shops and delectable restaurants that the area has to offer. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. Kevin, the manager, stood out with his exceptional hospitality and genuine eagerness to ensure that my stay was nothing short of excellent. His assistance and helpful recommendations truly enhanced my experience. The rooms were both comfortable and pristine, providing a cozy sanctuary to unwind after a day of exploring. The attention to cleanliness did not go unnoticed, and I appreciated the care taken to maintain such high standards. Breakfast was a highlight of my mornings at Harbour House. The delicious spread offered a variety of options to suit every palate, and each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail. It was the perfect start to my day. Overall, my time at Harbour House Hermanus was memorable, thanks to its ideal location, attentive staff, comfortable accommodations, and delectable breakfast offerings. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly enjoyable stay in Hermanus.

Kayla at bookings/reception went out of her way to make my daughter's 21st memorable. She organized balloons and flowers in the room with a little cupcake. She was very helpful and friendly when I contacted the property.

Payment was deducted double a month before the stay although I still had two weeks left to cancel should I wish. It was very difficult to get my money back with a lot of emails and phone calls. No feedback. Eventually paid back 3 weeks later.

Beautiful view and walking distance to shops and restaurants.. The apartment had everything you needed and more.

The couches in the living room were a bit uncomfortable. Misleading information about pets. On the website, it showed that you can bring your pets with if arrangements were made before the time. When we phoned the hotel, they told us our unit is not pet friendly. We did notice that people had dogs at one of the other units.

I loved the centrality of the hotel. We could walk everywhere. The breakfast was great.

The cushions were too soft (but this is a preference issue). Although I loved where we stayed, could you make it clear when booking, which part of the hotel one will be staying in. It comes as a surprise when you hear you'll be staying across the the road and not at the 'main' building.

Everything, from arrival to departure the team were amazing. We stayed here a year ago and it was as good if not even better. Rooms are well equipped, hot tub is a perk- I'd only say the balcony wasn't totally private so neighbors would walk by us or dip hands in. Location is spot on with beautiful views and breakfast is delicious- simple but perfectly executed with a variety available on the continent buffet too! We will be back again soon!

We couldn't stay longer!

The room/apartment exceeded our expectations in terms of size, decor, views from the room, fireplace, kitchen facilities and the best part it being central to everything in Hermanus. We parked safely right next to our door in gated garage, but we never even used the car, we walked and explored the whole Hermanus from right out of our hotel room/apartment.

The communication up front about what room we were getting (apartment vs hotel room) could have been better. But that said, we are so glad we got what we got with our family of 5 and it worked out so beautifully.

Fabulous apartment. Lovely Decor. Spacious. Location

The floor was very dirty throughout the apartment. Previous Guests' hair was in balls in several places, most notably on the upstairs stoep, where a lazy cleaning effort had left hair in a messy ball as if it were waiting to go down a drain. There were spillages on the bathroom floor of something Sticky(?) As well as the kitchen floor being particularly dirty. It seems Housekeeping are not on top of their game. Table tops on Stoeps were also dirty.

Excellent location in town. We loved being able to sit outside for breakfast. Good selection on breakfast menu.

The bed was very hard like sleeping on a board! So we didn’t sleep very well. Our room was facing a restaurant across the road, so everyone could see into our room if we didn’t have the net curtain closed! Breakfast was good but food a little cold and sometimes my poached eggs were not soft as requested.

Great place to stay with good and convenient location, friendly staff, great food and beds.

We couldn't get in when we arrived which was made worse because we were very tired after a very long journey from the UK. We did arrive at 10pm but I double checked the booking which said check in was 3-11pm, so I felt comfortable that we wouldn't have any trouble getting sorted on arrival. After some stress and anxiety a local man who we saw in the street outside helped us get in by making lots of noise and then pressured me for financial rewards, ( I gave him 200 rand) which was probably a bit generous but we were getting increasingly desperate.
