Such a comfortable room! Nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed. This is perfect for a quick stop over in Ladybrand between travells. Our room had a fridge, microwave and kettle, with tea and coffee provided which was so welcomed after a long travel day. The bathroom was super clean and it had soap and shampoo provided. We went for the breakfast option which was fantastic. There were cereals, yogurts, fruit and an English breakfast (ensure you book it before your stay). We arrived late at night and the pick up arangements and check in were really great. Super pleasant stay!

Communicating with the property at first was a bit difficult, I tried through booking.com messages which were ignored. Then I tried messaging them through WhatsApp and I was redirected to someone else's number. We arranged transfers through the accomodation which was quite pricey for the length of the trip but we had no other taxi numbers.

We recently stayed at Citystay Ladybrand and had a pleasant experience. The property is well-maintained, offering comfortable and spacious rooms with modern amenities. The location is ideal as an overnight stop while still being close to local attractions. The on-site facilities, including free Wi-Fi and secure parking, were much appreciated. Overall, it’s a great choice for anyone visiting the area. I’d give it an 8.5/10 for its overall quality and value.

Location is excellent, reception was great and efficient and we were shown the most beautiful room after a joke or 2. Would have loved to try the breakfast, but time was a constraint.

There were no nameboard installed, so we were not sure where to enter the premises. The showerhead in our room was also incorrectly installed which resulted in quite a funny shower, but it wasn't the end of the world.

The receptionist Nyakallo was so pleasant friendly and helpful. The place was spotless! Very comfortable and we happy we chose to spend the night there. The exterior of the property was also so neat and tidy. The gardener Mokhalinyane was hard at work!

The only negative is that we drove around for 20 minutes looking for the Citystay! There is no signage and not even on the wall or the verge of the place.

I'm only disappointed because I was charged twice had to borrow money somewhere for petrol as they could not refund me. They were careless

I never book breakfast because I'm not a morning person. Rooms were nice and spacious. We had electric blankets and a working Aircon. I left the room and when I came back it was spotless. I lost my keys they gave me a spare one until I found mine again. I would highly recommend and I will come back

Everything about this place is honestly perfect, the peace and quietness is everything, I've went 4 times already.

With the current situation of loadshedding, they need a generator....and if they could just add a Pool to that amazing chilling area at the back and add more chairs and tables. It would very nice🤌🔥

The location, the comfort.

I always stay here, and the only thing I don't like every time I write a review is PLEASE put DSTV. Open view just don't have suitable channels and shows to keep one entertained.

Location was fine, the quietness of the area way from the Hustle and bustles of the town, comfortable bed and room with all the required amnesties.

There was load shedding so hated that. Please put proper DSTV and not open view as it is of no use those channels. Please atleast have plastic spoons in the rooms, and tea bags (my one room never had teabags the other room had),so one can stir or make tea and coffee etc

The room was clean and spacious with good amenities, situated in a secure and convenient gated compound. The hotel receptionist Nyakallo was extremely kind and helpful to us, as we are both deaf she was very patient with us and communicated with us via written notes which made it a comfortable experience for us. She even helped to put the AC on for us and fixed the TV which we couldn’t get to work, although we were happy to do without the TV, she insisted to fix it for us which was very nice of her. Moreover, I left my shoes at the property and Nyakallo looked after them until we came back for them en route to Johannesburg. Overall it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
