Elegant and cosy room. Fabulous breakfast. Great hospitality and very good information about surroundings, restaurants etc. The landlords were super, seeing all guests, not forgetting anyone. Closed parking space. Nice sitting room. Everything was super.

Perfect place in Mossel Bay. Walking distance to town with restaurants and close to the St Blaize trail. There is a shuttle also at night if you need. Room has everything - nice and spacious, clean and I loved the outdoor private area sheltered from the wind to be able to read. Great light comes in the room. Good bed and kettle in the room. Hot water in shower and safe, hair dryer in room. Highly recommend to stay here. You won’t regret it!

I didn’t get to use the pool! Because it was too cold 🥶 No Baz Bus stop but it’s worth the 10 min walk to stay here and get picked up down the road. (I do have to warn; one way would be very steep up hill) but still worth it!

The hosts were excellent, very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend anyone to book a stay at the avenues guest house. The rooms were impeccably clean and sanitary. I enjoyed the company as well as the breakfast options. I felt right at home.

a lovely B&B with very comfy beds and superbly clean rooms, Meike greeted us as we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast selection was great and set us up wonderfully for the day. Amazing breakfast - with a bunch of options for tea -, neat and clean bedding, private area where you can handle your washing outside, friendly and well-organized hosts, and spotless accommodation.

For backpackers can be a tough place: a little bit far from the attractions in the city center - at least 15 min walking in an empty neighborhood - , and complicated to get an Uber or a local taxi before 8 PM.

I stayed at Avenues Guesthouse and had the best experience imaginable. The guesthouse is located in the city centre of town, but in a quiet, peaceful area. The room was exactly as described on booking.com, nothing was missing and it was spotless clean. There is a communal fridge in the lounge which I liked a lot; I don’t like having noisy appliances in the bedroom. Maaike and Martin are attentive and friendly hosts and provided me with all necessary information, including recommendations for dinner. I’ll be back, for sure.

Meike and Martin were excellent hosts, immediately making one feel very welcome. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The location suited me perfectly. The breakfast was great. There was secure parking.

There was absolutely nothing about which to pass a negative comment. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will certainly stay again when I next work in the area.

Lovely accommodation in an excellent location. Restaurants, Waterfront and The Point with tourist attraction Zip Line in walking distance. Our hosts Meike and Martin were simply brilliant. Great support in planning our stay, good advice on what to do and where to go. A great time in Mossel Bay helped by wonderful hosts and a great accommodation including a good breakfast. Would we come back. You bet.
