I like the serenity of the place, the rooms were kept clean, the bedding and the entire unit. The staff is amazing. We had booked the log cabin, but when we checked in, the temperature had plummeted. It was soooo cold, and they bumped us up to the Villas as I was travelling with children, that was awesome. Kitchen and facility staff, always ready to give service with a smile. Due to us having moved our overall stay by a day, kitchen staff didn't have our catering information as we had booked for breakfast and dinner, and when we told them that, they ensured that they always checkin with us to ensure we dont miss a meal we had paid for, at some point a Hostess called Rachel or it Tebogo from the restaurant called for our Sunday meal as the restaurant closes early and she had realised that we are around but havent made our way to the restaurant. Thats what i call attentiveness to clients. We felt like the only guests this weekend. Keep up the good work., Excellent Place.

The ladies at the reception were friendly and helpful, thank you! ♥️ The place was peaceful, quiet with a beautiful view of the river, great pool areas and all kitchen equipments were available. The bathrooms were clean with nice running hot water! 😊

The villa was clean bt had dust on the tables and there spider webs on steps and we found a BIG spider on one of our beds and the ladies were scared to sleep on thier bed and ended up sleeping on the couches. Maybe they should do pest control more often. But I would go back a 100 times again!!! Really enjoyed my stay there ☺️❤️

Everything about the place we liked...except for the below mentioned, what i did not like.

Room was not cleaned on our arrival, even thou we arrived an hour before check in, we were advised the room was not ready. Almost 2hrs later, arrived at the room, floors were not sweeped or mopped. Could still see dust on the cupboards. Previous guest braai ashes were still on the floor at the braai area, empty chargoal packets still there. Patio area was not cleaned/neat.

Meals were fine a little pricy especially the drinks. Staff were super friendly and gave a good impression of the place. Activities were well priced and very enjoyable. Grounds were clean and well maintained. Sunday buffet was well priced and well worth the weight.

Drinks prices both alcoholic and no-alcoholic beverages were pricy. Indoor heated pool was not warm enough. Sign advises it is 30 degrees/C but it felt more like 25 degrees. Fire was lit on Friday night for supper but not Saturday.

The Rondavel stay was really nice. The breakfast was also wonderful. The pools are beautiful. The whole scenery is so serene. It's therapeutic. The service from the restaurant was excellent. My toddler loved it there. I'm going back there soon. It's a pity that now it's sold out cos I want to go back after just a week there. l loved it there and would recommend it to everyone who's in tune with nature.

The TV wasn't playing. Asked them if they could fix it, but still didn't receive any help.

One of the house keepers "Sugar" made sure we were comfortable enough by getting us the villas that were next to each other and went out of her to try and get us a bigger pot as all their pots there were small sizes not catering for families and got the technician to fix our stove that wasn't working upon arrival

The stove wasn't working, there was no hot water and the kitchen utensils are small sizes for families, not enough utensils for a family stay.

The place is very beautiful

When I made the booking I was under the impression that I was booking for a room and in actual fact I was booking a piece of land for camping. Even on my confirmation via email the was very little information with regards to that. The was 1 note right at the bottom which I only saw when the staff notified me. It even took her a little bit of time to find it. Otherwise the place is very beautiful and the staff lady was very nice and helpful

Wow: the stuff member mr Elias Maseko made me fill comfortable especially at the dining room making us fill comfortable and welcome. He was so friendly and explained everything we needed to know. Lastly the breakfast was super 👌 good. It's best place to visit and recommend to anyone

Firstly the TV at the roundwavel is old fashion, the twin bed was not good for us since I was with my wife, the supper takeaway food was dry just t- bone meet with rice only without any vegetable salad and lastly the heated water in the pool were not that heat as I expected

We liked the locaton very very much; the scenery was very pleasing. The bedrooms was clean and very neat.

There was a dusty smell in the lounge by the couches; thus we could not even seat there to relax. Also, we were only told on check-in that the hiking trail is temporarily closed. It was a disappointment as we really really wanted to hike.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, beautiful surroundings, there was so much to do on site - we loved the option of the indoor pool, seems like everything has been thought of even for the little kids - lovely property perfect for our family size. We will definitely be back.
