The place lays in a very good residential area, it was quiet and safe neighborhood, close both to wine farms and short drive to the centre. It was very clean and well maintained, had a beautiful garden. I loved the breakfast, they did not skimped on anything, expensive fruits, good quality juice and coffee, the scramble eggs I had were so creamy. The owners were so friendly, we had a really good chat with them. The first day we spent some time around the pool and enjoyed the birds, it was so peaceful. They have also back up battery , so we did not feel the load shedding.

Very clean, pleasant and well-presented with excellent kitchen facilities too. The hosts have thought of every little detail in the room to make my stay so comfortable. The pool was lovely and a perfect temperature and the garden and setting beautifully maintained. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the hosts very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Personally I am not keen on internet TVs and prefer more easily usable regular broadcast TV (with DSTV if available). It may have been user error on my side (!) but these can be a bit of mission and not intuitive when trying to find programmes!

Penelope's place was neat, immaculately clean and comfortable. It's a perfect spot for a stop in Stellenbosch, close enough to the town but far out enough to experience the quieter suburb feel. We stayed here for a night while attending an event close by and the room was perfect for our short stay. The room is spacious, light and airy and Penelope caters for all the small details. Better than photos. We appreciated all the small details in the room, which made our stay that much more comfortable. Side note - her home made rusks are delicious!

We enjoyed our stay of 5 nights , the room was spacious and light so it was nice to spend time there. We also enjoyed the balcony. It was also very clean! there was not a single dust to be found, the maids work hard everyday to make you arrive in a clean neat room. The pool was actually good maintained and lovely for a swim, this is something we did not see at other guesthouses. pool beds also very comfy. Last but not least: Penelope is very sweet and caring and wants your stay to be very comfortable !

Cant think of any, especially not considering the price. The price quality is really good !!

A lovely house in the comfortable suburbs about 10 minutes drive from the town centre and close to Stellenbosch Golf Club. Very nice room with a comfortable bed and a lovely balcony overlooking the gardens and swimming pool. Penelope was a super friendly and helpful host, who made us feel welcome and she shared many tips for great places to visit nearby that we would not have otherwise known about. Breakfast was delicious and served in the garden or kitchen depending on the weather.

Beautiful, very quiet and very tastefully decorated B&B with bright, large and cozy rooms with balconies and views of the mountains. Beautiful garden with pool to relax! Easy to reach by car or Uber and well connected to Stellenbosch, Frankschoek and the wineries. The breakfast was fantastic. I especially enjoyed all the fresh fruit (strawberries, kiwi, melon, pineapple, papaya, cherries, blueberries) and the super coffee! We would definitely come back and had a wonderful vacation.

Centrally located in a small and quiet street. Secure parking on the premise. Nice house, modern immaculate clean room with big balcony. Pool in rear garden with lush vegetation. Nice cooked breakfast. Penelope and her husband are great sypmpathic hosts who also give recommendations.

We were looking forward to watch one game of football worldcup on TV but only Netflix available. However Penelope advised us to go to a sportsbar nearby which was a great choice 🙂

Lovely place with a wonderful garden and very friendly hostess and host. We appreciated the personal touch , such as flowers and chocolates and fruit in the room and fresh towels every day. We never noticed loadshedding, as there was backup power in place. Recommend unreservedly.

there is not really much to mention. if so, fly screens would be just perfect to have due to that we had mosquitos. unfortunately fly screens seem not to be very common in ZA.

Our stay was peaceful and tranquil. A very comfortable stay in a lovely neighborhood. Penelope's welcome was very warm and friendly. We will certainly book again. Thank you.

A minor adjustment for a 10 out of 10, is the absence of a nice comfortable wingback chair in the room. The rest, simply perfect. Thank you.
