There were 3 of us staying in 2 rooms for one night, we drove up to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and returned for a further one night stay 10 days later. The Guesthouse is very conveniently located in the heart of Upington, feels safe, small, quaint, very clean and they provide the most abundant breakfasts. All the staff are extremely friendly. They provided a reasonably paid Airport pick up and drop off service.

Cannot like much. As my booking was cancelled as it was overbooked. I booked the night before and got calll next morning that the staff had already allocated room. Sadly no recourse was offered except to stay at another guesthouse. I was disappointed and those the staff were polite, they should have done more. Even if it was to invite me for breakfast or the spend time on the property. Really feel cheated on this booking.

We arrived late but they made a plan to still provide us with dinner and drinks, staff exceptionally friendly. Room really luxury with enough towels, toiletries, hair dryer etc. They even provided us with a menu to order breakfast on the go! It was really quiet, and peaceful, safe inside parking.

Can't think of anything I want changed, we really loved this place and will be back for sure!

The location was perfect, we were in Upington for a wedding. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was great, the staff very pleasant and helpful. And we loved the animals, especially Elvis 🥰

There was a bit of confusion with our 2 rooms, the extra single bed was in the double room instead of the family room. However, this didn't really affect us.

Very nice, safe place on the river for a single person, couple or family staying overnight or a few nights. Child friendly. Has a few birds, bunnies, and cats outside and a nice lawn for kids to play on. Has a deck on the river for afternoon sundowners! Very friendly staff.

The parking is a bit small, but safe.

Good stop in town and close enough to walk to the Red Ox restaurant which is definitely worth a visit; Host (Morne) was very friendly and helpful and even spoilt us with a packed breakfast for our early ride out the next morning (he got up a 05h00 to make fresh toasted sandwiches for us to take with). Rooms were comfortable with a massive bathroom (shower and spa bath). And a well stocked bar fridge which was appreciated.

Pillows need to be replaced please. Otherwise the room was comfortable.

We were taking Grandpa to the bus stop on his way to Namibia and decided to stay overnight so we won't have to drive back home in the dark. Pet friendly and child friendly. If you have busy body kids, this is the perfect stay.

I have no complaints. The place is perfect. It just gets hot during loadshedding, but who doesn't complain about loadshedding.....

The breakfasts are wonderful with a selection of cereals, good coffee and hot options. Our room was comfortable with a well stocked mini bar. The bathroom is out of this world with the biggest jacuzzi tub I've ever seen! The hosts own a variety of exotic animals and birds which make the garden experience lovely. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, sorting out our parking and making our stay very pleasant.

The location on the river is beautiful. you must love animals to stay at the guest house. Cats, dogs and birds live happily on the property.

The rooms are close to the office and front door, which can be quite noisy in the mornings. air conditioner wasn’t working efficiently. Bedside lamp wasn’t working. flickering down lighter in the bedroom. No blackout on the curtains

Welcoming Host, beautifully furnished, right on the river and tidy. Stocked mini-bar. Very nice breakfast, normal Continental plus English, the boerewors was very tasty. A place to visit again.

The TV was a bit wonky
