Those beds... I still dream about it. Of course not everyone likes the same kind of mattress but it was perfect for me - firm but not too much, and those sheets were amazing. Good location, very easy to reach the fish market area, Gamcheon Culture Village, Songdo beach area and Taejondae Resort Park. Not much to do in the area at night, but that's not what we were looking for. Check-in is late but they stored our luggage in a separate room accessible only to staff before check-in, and they ask for your ticket to give you back your luggage. I think storage after check-out is different, and bags are left in the hallway. Right in front of the - always-staffed - front desk, but I would feel less comfortable leaving my stuff then.

Breakfast was meh. Mostly Korean food, which I didn't particularly enjoy, and bread with what's supposed to be margarine but it was the worst I've ever had in my life Late check-in (4PM) AND early check-out (10AM). I'm fine with one or the other, but both is slightly taking the piss imho Some context for those who read comments complaining about the hotel's location: Busan is VERY spread out. There's simply no location in town that will allow you to reach everywhere easily. If you're just staying 1-2 days in the city, book a hotel close to the places you want to visit it. If you're staying longer, then either book 2 accommodations during your stay in different parts of town, or accept you will have to spend 1h/1h30 in transports at times to reach where you want to go.

located very close to the main train station; large and clean room, very comfortable beds, nice bathroom with all you need; breakfast starts at 07:00AM and is quite nice, offering (day after day) various Korean food but also some European options - good coffee! btw, you can borrow pyjamas from them :-)

This Toyoko-Inn is located fairly close to Busan station, about a 10~15 minute walk (20 minutes tops if you're walking slowly). The room and bathroom were clean. It only contains the essentials: bed, desk, lamp, TV, fridge, etc. Part of the fridge was broken, but it didn't stop it from working normally. The bed was comfortable. Soaking in the tub after a long day walking was the best part. The toilets are very powerful. The clothing line is really useful. Breakfast was a Korean buffet with a simple toast, jam, butter and cereal options on the side. It's nice that breakfast was included. The facility has laundry machines and dryer, but we didn't use that option. Best part: Neighbors are very quiet! I don't know if the room is soundproof or the neighbors were just pleasantly quiet, but we were able to get good nights sleep every day of our stay. It was wonderful.

When I visit Busan, my 1st choice of accommodation is Toyoko-Inn. Rooms are clean, good breakfast and location to most places very convenient. It's value for money and the property does not look dated or tired. I have stayed twice at the Jungang property and once at the Seomyeon property.

The late 16:00 hours check-in policy. It would have been nice if they allowed a check-in by 14:00 hours. After a long overnight flight and having to wait till almost end of day to check-in was a bit of a stretch. Toyoko-Inn may want to revisit their check-in policy. It would also be nice if there was a bigger lounging area for coffee and snacks. Not possible to do this in the compact rooms for small groups.

This is my third stay in Toyoko-Inn Busan Jungang Station in last 10 years and I was never disappointed! Hotel is 15 minutes walk from the Busan train station. Also there is a metro station in 5 min walk distance. Hotel is also 10 min. walk from the Lotte mall, and Jagalchi Fish Market. and 15 minutes walk from the famous BIFF Square Rooms are OK size for Korean standards, but keep in mind that not as big as the ones in Europe. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Toilet is equipped with electronic bidet. Every day you get a bottle of water. Wi-Fi was free of charge and worked flawlessly. Breakfast was Korean style, but good. Also there a few western options. Staff at the reception is very helpful and kind. Overall definitely a good stay in Busan close to many attractions at an affordable price :)

It is close to the main railway station. I have to commend the staff. They are very kind and try as if it were a 5-star hotel. The room was small, but comfortable. For three nights, I did not take the daily cleaning of the bed, but they would leave clean towels at my door every day. Also, they even offered to do it for me tax free, although the percentage is small - out of 180,000 I got 10,000 back.

Breakfast is very Korean. Since I'm not a fan of Korean cuisine, the breakfast could be more international. The only things I knew were boiled eggs lol

The central location, 1 bus stop away from the KTX station or a leisurely 15 minutes walk. The harbour and the fish market are 2 subway stations away. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are on the smallish side but very well organised . In case you forgot your night gear, you can get yourself a pair of pyjamas from a machine in the lobby! Keep time in your morning schedule for the included breakfast buffet : the choice of Korean and Chinese food is impressive and, unless you only go for toast and jam, it will be difficult not to go for a second round. We definitely recommend the place.

For obvious design and safety reasons, no electric outlet in the bathroom which makes using shaving appliances a bit tricky. If you are a light sleeper, consider earplugs as the general soundproofing is slightly under par. Small inconveniences that don't change the fact we really appreciated staying there.

This hotel is accessible to all destinations. It’s near the train station and the commute is easy. There’s a body massage chair in the lobby that I used twice during my stay, money changer kiosk, unlimited skincare products which I really loved that I used it every night (where do you get them?). Bedsheets were straightened up and towels were replaced everyday. Breakfast buffet was really good, there are real eggs, real meat & vegetables. But maybe, next time serve some American breakfast, too, like pancakes & oatmeal, but I’m satisfied with the healthy choices.

The elevator didn’t take people from the middle level so we had to take the stairs to go down especially with our heavy luggages which is not safe. The mugs that we used were not cleaned or replaced during our stay 👎

From the front desk team, which is very polite, helpful, and nice up to the size of the room! The beds are super comfortable, the size of the room was perfect (1 person), the breakfast is Asian so put you into gastronomic culture, the corridors were quiet and the bathroom was good size! It was something that I didn't expect! Very well communicated with buses and it is near train station. Restaurants are near!

Maybe the selection of breakfast. Most of their clients are Asian but for those ones who are not, it can be a bit challenging to grab a bite before your journey start! However, the selection of Asian food is also good 👍

- A great value for money. I booked a room with a twin bed. The room and the bed were bigger than expected, and it was really clean. - The toilet was equipped with an electronic bidet. - Great location, just one station away from Busan station. - There is a Wowpass machine inside the hotel. - Helpful staff. They accommodated my request for a very late check-in and helped me book a taxi for the airport early morning the next day.

- If you use the elevator for all the floors in the morning, be prepared to stop on EVERY floor. - The dining room wasn't very big, and there weren't many seats left at breakfast. My friend and I ended up eating in a room that felt like a meeting room within the dining area, which was a bit awkward.
