An excellent common area with kitchenette, cafe style seat, breakfast tables & sofas. There was plenty of cups, plates & utensils. The kitchenette also had a fridge & microwave. Dorm room was decent size, but nothing other than beds. The bed had two electrical points, a private light, a foldaway table, privacy curtains and a locker underneath the bed. The bed was pretty comfortable as were the pillow and quilt. A roof with amazing views of Daegu. Location is close to Jungangno metro station and most of the attractions of the city are close by.

The boys bathroom needs a refresh. There was mould on the silicone in the showers. Unsightly, but nothing gross. The toilets was a standard seat. No geyser and really need tissue paper holders. There was only one sink on the 5th floor shared bathroom. The hairdryer was locate near the sink. Sometimes it feels impractical to use it when someone is at the sink.

The property is centrally located and walking distance from 2 subway exits. It is near the traditional Starbucks and Hyundai Daegu and sits amidst restaurants, stores and other Daegu historical landmarks. Most importantly, the owner/staff were very helpful and hospital and always ready to help. As i joined the Daegu Marathon he allowed me to use the shower facilities even beyond checkout hours The property is well maintained, very clean and always manned by staff who are willing to assist. It sits amidst the beauty that Daegu has to offer.

None about the property only that my stay was too short . I would have wanted to stay longer

The location is perfect, and the hostel itself is excellent for such a low price. I met a friend and we toured around the city together. This hostel is also great because people were respectful and courteous about others in the rooms. When you check in, you get to choose which number of dorm bed you want. The beds are clean and comfortable with a blind you can lower to keep out light. There is a tiny shelf in each bedspace that can be folded in or out of the wall, and you get an outlet with a light in it. You also get a locker in the hallway to use. Great kitchen space for all to use as well. Upon checking in, you get a basket with towels, a bottle of water and earplugs. There is an elevator in case you don't want to take the stairs.

When I arrived and most of the time when I left and entered the hostel, there was nobody at reception. It would have been nice to have been greeted when I entered or to get tips on where to visit. There were maps and paper guides available to take, however. The only other thing I didn't like was that the storage area for bags was always unlocked and unsupervised, and considering nobody was at reception much of the time, it would have been very easy for someone to grab peoples' luggage and walk off with it. I assume that being Korea, it's so safe and crime is so low that this never happens though.

Location is great = central, 5min walk to public transport buses and subways, within main shopping district and museums, lots of place to eat as well. Hostel provides everything you need for a good stay = bed, TV but only Korean channels? super tiny bathroom with toilet, hairdryer. The reception area has a kitchen and dining area with toaster, microwave, kettle, fridge etc = I got hot water here.

Room was a bit smelly but it cleared after some time. Towels are like hand tea towel size but you can take as many as you like from reception for use.

Our stay was near alot of restaurants.. very busy and happening area. Its got a lot of floors and the building has lift. One of the floor has powder room for women to get ready.. that was not expected yet very well thought out. We had the room and private toilet therefore had no issues.. and on the top floor they had terrace. Washing machine was provided but there was certain timings for it so didnt really get to use it .

Nothing to dislike .. just an ordinary room

Privacy is given importance. Rolling blinds instead of thin curtains are hung to provide comfort and privacy. Each bunk bed has its own lamp and 2 electric outlets. The room has a space to store big luggages. Shared bathrooms and showers were clean, toiletries, blow dryers, flat and curling irons were also available. I walked in way past my expected check in time, but the host was still available to check me in past 2200. This is a walking distance from the Banwoldang station, and about a block away from the Hanok inspired Starbucks cafe.

Excellent location. The area is rich in history and it was wonderful just exploring the churches - Gyesan cathedral and first Presbyterian church of Daegu, independence movement march route, Seomun market. Lots of restaurants and cafes too. Helpful boss who gave good advice. Offered storage for bags. Great connectivity to other places like bus terminal n Haeinsa.

So popular that I couldn't extend my stay - they were fully booked for the weekend.

The owner of the place was really nice and helpful. Everything was clean. You can do your laundry there, which was really good as I travel with just a backpack (it's free if you stay 3+ nights). The location was good too, many restaurants around, very nice coffee places (and hanbok Starbucks!), few min to a subway station.. Overall, I had really good time.

The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It was very easy to get around with English as a foreigner staying at this hostel. We stayed in the private room with bathroom and it was great value for money. A super cosy, clean and affordable room for those on a budget. The location is superb as you are in walking distance from downtown Daegu. This hostel has one of the best (and cleanest) rooftop views I have seen in all of Korea.

This is just my personal preference - I'm not a fan of the wet room style bathroom. However, the private bathroom was completely spotless.
