It was a warm welcome by Samchon, the owner. It was too bad that his wife was away for a bit as I was looking forward to the delicious breakfast mentioned in the past reviews. The room was enough for me, a solo traveller. The beach was just a few minutes walk away, a hidden place as it is away from the main road. There is a bus stop that would bring you to Pyoseon beach and the surrounding areas. Truthfully, it is better if you have a car as it is easier to travel around and the bus may take some time. The convenience store is somehow nearby. As a Muslim, there wasn't much options for me around so, I usually get food from the convenience store or travel to Pyoseon beach to buy the shrimp burger at Lotteria. It is one of my favourite places as it also has a great view of the beach. Samchon was so nice, brought me to the nearby mart to stock up my groceries and helped me with my car rental. He is always ready to share his expertise about where to go and what to do. I really enjoyed my 12-day stay here. Will definitely come back and looking forward to see both husband and wife. Stay healthy and take care! (=

The room we lived was very nice. It was clean and had everything you need for your trip. The location is good, itâs not far away from different destinations. The host and his wife are super nice! The host drove us to the places we needed to go, told about places we should visit, even prepared Korean breakfast for us. If we ever needed help, he was ready to help us with anything.

An absolutely charming guesthouse run by a lovely couple. I stayed for one night while cycling around the island. When I arrived they were just putting up the English language sign (the Korean language sign had been up for some time) and the rooms were very comfortable, although not to a hotel level of sophistication. The hosts were very friendly, knowing enough English to be conversational, and they recommended me some very good restaurants nearby. I also had a nice time playing with their cats and walking around the neighbourhood. I was not expecting the place to be very social, but I did have some good conversations with other guests staying there in the common area. The breakfast the next morning was one of the best I had in Korea, there is something about the heartiness of a home cooked meal that can't be replicated in a restaurant or hotel buffet. Overall I enjoyed my stay and really felt like I was a guest staying at a family home.

I had an amazing stay at this guesthouse in the South of Jeju Island! The property was incredibly cozy, making me feel right at home. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Choi, were absolutely lovelyâso kind and helpful. They shared fascinating insights about the local history and surrounding areas, gave excellent recommendations for restaurants and places to visit based on the daily weather and season of the year, and helped with every little problem I had. Mr. Choi kindly showed me around, taking me to a local market, and assisting with my pickup and drop-off. Mrs. Choi was so thoughtful and even packed me a delicious êł ê”Źë§ for my hike to Hallasan Mountainâit truly meant so much! It was also a delight to speak some Korean with them, though they speak and understand English pretty alright. The location is close to the beach, which is stunning, especially at sunrise or sunset. And the breakfast? Easily a ten out of tenâ simple but delicious, traditional, and the perfect way to start the day! Overall, if you're looking to experience traditional local life in a peaceful, quiet area away from the city for one or more days, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommended! A huge thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Choi for your kindness and hospitality! ë€ì ë”êž°ë„Œ ë°ëëë€! :)
The only downside is that the property isnât near any major attractions, so having a car is highly recommended. While the buses are reliable, they take quite a bit of time and can cut into your day.

Blue Island Guesthouse is managed by a lovely and warm Korean couple. The place is near the beach just a few minutesâ walk. The place is in a peaceful and quiet area perfect for a rest after a dayâs wandering around Jeju Island. I stayed here for 5 nights and it was a very comfortable stay. My room was spacious enough and has everything I needed. It was neat and clean even the bathroom. Breakfast was a traditional Korean breakfast. Mrs. Choi prepares the breakfast daily so breakfast is always warm and delicious. Mr. and Mrs. Choi are warm hosts indeed. I had the pleasure to talk with them during my stay. Mr. Choi even showed me around his neighborhood on my first day. He also gave me some information of the good places to see in Jeju Island. He also always reminds me to take care on my adventure. I highly recommend Blue Island Guesthouse.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and provided me with lots of suggestions and assistance. On the first day when I arrived after dinner hours, they even stopped by a burger shop for me to grab a meal before heading to the accommodation. The location is very convenient, just a 3-minute walk to the beach, with shops and restaurants nearby. The environment is quiet and comfortable, and the room was clean and well-equipped. The homemade Korean-style breakfasts were absolutely delicious, with a different variety each day. Even when I was heading to my next destination, they offered me great travel suggestions. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our time in this friendly guesthouse. The owners gave us personal recommendations for what to do on Jeju and surprised us with a free breakfast on the last day. Nice accommodation with a small kitchen, we gratefully made use of it. We could even use two bicycles to make a bike ride on the island. The owners are always ready for help. Partly because of these people, we have had wonderful memories of our stay. This location is definitely recommended for staying on Jeju.
We have experienced a problem with the door lock, but this is quickly and adequately resolved by the owner on the same day.

It was our first stop/accomodation in South Korea on this trip. Owner and his wife were very helpful and nice. They made everyday homemade breakfast. It was best breakfast thru our whole trip. We parked our car before guesthouse without problem. Location was good, in the middle of main attractions on the south side of Jeju, around 30 minutes by car to both Seogwipo and Seongsan Ilchulbong. Owner gave a reccomendations for attractions and as well restaurants. Guesthouse was located in the middle of the village, so there was quiet in the night. Around 5 minutes walk is a sea, convenience store and also bus stop (which we didnt use, since we had rented car).

The most lovely host I have had. a sweet Korean couple runs this guest house. They are so kind-hearted and warm people. We got a really good homemade Korean breakfast every day and some recommendations for where to visit. I felt delighted and like at home here. The location is excellent; it is close to the sea and has a beautiful road along the sea where you can walk in the evenings. It was such a great experience overall.
Nothing!! Everything was excellent! I had no issues here. It's even good for vegetarians as the make vegetarian breakfast on request. If you are looking for a peaceful homely place away from the touristy places I highly suggest this guest house.

I could not figure out how to use the GPS. I sent a few msgs along the way and each reply was prompt and patient. The owner even drove out to find me and lead me. Upon arrival at the guesthouse, he then sat me and my son down. Recommended us dinner places and what to do that night and the next day. He then showed me to the room and showed me around the room. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was AMAZING. We even had grilled mackerel and meat dumpling soup! I have never had such a nice bf before. Owner even checked the weather report and worriedly advised us to do as much as we could that day as it would be raining heavily the next day. I was very touched by his thoughtfulness and kindness. I strongly recommend staying at Blue Island, esp if you have a car.
All is good!
