After searching online for weeks, I settled here. Some reviews were unfavorable, I was not sure what I would find. Here is what I found. A generous & kind staff. They were patient & helpful. I let them know in advance what time I was checking in, as the website recommended. They replied via email to confirm my details. At check in I was early & they were ready. Mr. Kim pointed me to his list of QR code platforms, where I chose WhatsApp. I do not speak Korean, and they were ready with a solution where we easily communicated through WhatsApp. It was comical at times. The staff was available the 1st half of each day, they request you ask questions during this time. It worked fine. There were occasional times that I messaged off their time schedule and got a response. Mr. Kim went above and beyond the call of duty when he helped me navigate a website to purchase tickets to see Chicago at opening night. I could not get past the language barrier even with my translator app. Mr. Kim and I muddled through our language barrier together and he was so kind to do so. In addition, he gave me the pointer to take Dongmyo Station line 2, so I would not have to transfer. This was terrifically helpful, as I had not been in a large city using public transportation in many many years. When you’re me you learn to enjoy getting lost. There is so much to see in Seoul, the architecture and street sculptures were one of my highlights. Single room: 11 nights. After reading reviews, my mindset before I checked in was I would not have expectations, but accept whatever culture differences were there. The room was neat, looked like the pictures, and the mattress was hard. I slept well every night - woke up feeling fine after some arduous days. No complaints. 🧽no different than the Hyatt (except my Hyatt bill $6000) After check-in, I cleaned to my comfort level. Thanks to Mr. Kim I found the Daiso. Mr. Kim’s day off, another man was available to help me find a restaurant.

Bathroom lighting needs improvement.

The hotel is near to the Dongdaemun station, so it's quite convenient for traveling by underground train. The price is reasonable and staff is friendly.

We stayed here for 5 nights but there was no staff to clean the room daily. It's okay if you plan to stay for a short period but if you will stay for more than a week, the room might be too messy.

Great place to stay in Seoul! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is quiet and cozy. The single room is small but has everything you need, and the bed was nice. Overall, I would definitely recommend it :)) Also, the neighbourhood has everything you would need (restaurants, 24-hour convenience stores, subway and buses etc, in fact, the airport limousine has a stop almost in front of the hotel) but is not very touristy (at least in November).

Very near the markets and establishment. You could walk to Dongdaemun Plaza and easy access with bus station just across the street made it easy for us to navigate and travel to destinations. There are convenience stores and food establishments nearby. Very good accommodation. You could ask if you could self check in if you will arrive late.

No elevator. Our room is in 4th floor.

1.The location of hotel is near to two subway stations and airport bus stop is only 4 mins away. 2.I am staying at single room, the bathroom is small but is well set up for everything you need. I also like that there is a dressing table in the bedroom. 3. There is a small refrigerator in the room, and also bigger ones at 1st floor, it is very useful if you want to bring Kimchi back home. 4. The hotel uses Lines (and other SNS) for communications, it will translate even we can't speak Korean.

I recommend the hotel open the window before guest arrival to change the room's air.

My 2nd time in this hotel. And I really appreciate that they did all my requests for the room. It was very clean and the location is just a short walk to the subway station and bus station as well. There are also many convenient stores/restaurants nearby. The triple room we stayed in was beautiful, very clean and the owner/staffs are very accommodating. The price is also affordable. Will definitely go back^^

simple but good room (we got A202), easy check-in, convenient location close to subway station, rather quiet (except you hear the AC from time to time if you have the windows open), mosquito nets installed

use an app like naver, google maps won’t be very useful to find this place! with naver no problem.

It is located near Dongdaemun station exit 4 and it’s easy to connect to many different lines and get to major attractions. The showering situation is a bit unusual, but the hot water and strong pressure is a relief to start/end day.

It would be nice to have more room cleaning, but I understand.

very polite and helpful staff! the place is also very clean and comfortable to stay in 💕 I recommend it if you're looking for an affordable price and strategic location.

As far as I stayed there, nothing crossed my mind when it comes to what I didn't like.

It was easy to find, centrally located, and had a hot, powerful shower set up.

The room was a bit small and I prefer buildings with elevators.
