I really enjoyed my stay at Jiwoljang Guesthouse. I will definitely stay there again if I am ever in Seoul. I had asked if I had a private bathroom and was told I did. What I didn't realize was that it was not ensuite. However, it was really no problem. Everything was clean, and the thing I loved best was how incredibly quiet it was. I slept very well despite jet lag. The surrounding neighborhood is charming as well! It is also very convenient to get everywhere by bus or metro. While I didn't see the owners too much, on my last day, the young woman got up at the time I was leaving (4:40 AM!) to see me off and give me a bottle of Starbucks coffee drink. If she had not, I don't think I would have made it to the airport on time since my ride, booked through Trip.com, never showed. She helped me to call the driver repeatedly, hailed a cab on the street for me, spoke with the taxi driver (I don't speak Korean), and made sure my credit card would work for payment. She saved me! Once they renovate their garden, it will really be lovely.

My friend recommended me a night at the guest house of Jiwoljang and I had such a good day! Bed was also soft, so We slept well. The atmosphere of the accommodation was good, and I felt good because the staff treated me kindly.

The autumn leaves are beautiful in the mountain-like atmosphere that can't be seen in the city. It was a lot of healing during my stay! Hanna and her mother welcomed us with such kindness that it was so nice.

Really Nice staff--this is someone's home so it's not just staff--it's family. , cozy room, clean, safe neighborhood with nearby cafes. . Unique stay. Great value. Host greeted us with a snack and handwarmers.

Staff met you at the door almost every time you come in.. Although they were super kind, I felt like my parents were waiting for me to come home. No TV or full length mirror in room.

Thank you for treating me like a family in a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. I slept well because I liked the bed. Transportation was also near Seoul Station, so I could go anywhere comfortably. If I visit Korea again, I will stay here.

The guest house is small and in a quiet part of Seoul. The room was simple and comfortable.

The downstairs entrance part was a bit dark and cramped but the guest area upstairs was very pleasant.

The beds were really comfortable and the facilities were really nice. The owner was also super friendly to me and my friend when we arrived. There was free bottled water, slippers and some snacks as well plus shower gel.

Very very nice staff, clean house and nice common space. The owners were really welcoming and helped us with everything, thanks a lot! Would definitely repeat.

The outside of the building does not match the inside. The rooms are good and clean. Definitely worth the price.

The staff is really sweet, they make you feel really welcome. Furthermore the bed was really comfortable.
