location is perfect to us within short distance to the subway station myeongdong and other retail outlets. hostel is very well maintained, cleanliness is definitely above average, worth the price for a decent hostel.

a bit if not much climb required when travelling by foot to/from the hostel. also we stayed on the 5th floor, theres no elevator. prepare to do some workouts!

The hostel have everything I need for the stays. The facilities are in good condition. The location is great. It is walkable from Myeongdong Station. And there are many restaurants, cafes, and minimart in the areas. Just cross to another side of the road, you reach the shopping street.

The room is quite small. There is no place for big suitcase( if you have one). The bathroom is also quite small. However, what you really need for a night or two days stays are all there. The hostel is located on the high slope. You will need to climb up a bit. There is no elevator for people (but they have elevator for your luggages)

The host, kevin, was very lovely and welcoming. The overall stay was good. really recommend for a solo traveller.

Staying near the lobby can be noisy.

The location is really great, ~5min walk to the metro station, but on a quiet street. The room and the hostel in general were clean. The rooftop of the hostel was nice and it had a great view! The owner and also other members of the staff were really nice, the owner spoke very good English and was really social and helpful :)

The room was very small. You have to be careful when taking a shower since the water proofing of the bathroom door is poor and the water gets to the bedroom quite quickly... You can only do laundry after 10pm which is quite odd, but they do offer free laundry detergent which is nice. The breakfast was ok (toast, cereal, coffee/tea), but some fruit would be a nice addition.

Location is good and the room is clean!

The space may be small but we are thankful for the owner to grant us 2 bathrooms for our family.

Location is very near Myeongdong Street, just a short walk. Quiet neighborhood with little cafes and restaurants and convenience stores. There is no elevator but there is a lift for the luggages. Every floor there is a rack for new sets of towels and a bin for used ones. There is a shared fridge and microwave at the common area and at the 2nd flr I think? The receptionist was kind enough to send me late check in details even when I forgot to advise him of our check in time. He also replies inmediately thru WhatsApp. Our room was provided with basic amenities like blow dryer, disposable toothbrush, steam iron for clothes, and shampoo and body wash. Over all it was a good stay. Highly recommended

The towels are a bit small. The bathrooms are small but I think thats common among hostels

The location is great. Airport Express bus dropped us in front of Myeondong station, and a short walk to hotel; not difficult to find, although up a hill. Our room for 3 adults was on first floor, which was great. Hotel had lift luggage for upper floors, which is helpful. Check-in was a breeze, and everything we needed was available. There is a kitchen with utensils, microwave, fridge, water dispenser, connected to lounge area that we could gather around to eat and drink. There is also a washing machine. Heating was good and the beds/pillows were comfortable. It was good that there was staff that could communicate in English.

Our room was tight for 3 adults. With some organisation , we managed to open 3 suitcases, although there is no room to move around after that. The toilet/shower combined is very, very small, with little room to hang things without getting wet.

I like their hospitality, the owner was really friendly. I also like their rooftop that let me see the Namsan Tower scenery. Their kitchen was clean. They also provided complete eating utensils set. This property is very suitable for backpackers.

I could still hear noises from other rooms. There were two guys talking in the next room and I could listen to their whole conversation. The water from the bathroom sometimes got leaked outside during shower.

We stayed in a room for three people with a private bathroom on the ground floor. The hostel had the atmosphere of a family business. Checking in and out were quick and easy. I felt right at home with the open kitchen and free roof access. The kitchen and reception area looked updated and friendly. Great rooftop with wonderful view of Namsan and N Soul Tower. There were several shelves in the hallways with additional towels and toilet paper, guests can help themselves as needed. The beds were comfortable, sheets were clean. Loved the cozy warmth of the electric blankets. We stayed at six different places on this trip and only got to enjoy this luxury here. For breakfast, there was a buffet of toast, jam, peanut butter, coffee, milk, orange juice and cereal.

Hostel standards can’t be expected to meet those of a fancy business hotel. Our bathroom was tiny, basically a shower cabin with included toilet and sink. It needed some maintenance due to humidity. I appreciated the window that opened easily for ventilation in addition to the AC. I understand not every guest knows about airing rooms properly, especially sanitary facilities, to avoid problems due to dampness. However, this is certainly not the case in all bathrooms, and the owners really seem to care about keeping everything in good condition and performing renovations.

They have luggage elevator so we don't have to worry about carrying heavy luggages to the upper floor. The location also really good & strategic even though its a bit uphill. For towels, you can change and pick it by yourself. Another thing, the way they provide a lot of clothes hanger is such a plus point for me.

I guess some days I have a bad luck with other guests. One night, I got a really noisy kids as floor mates. They keep running in the hall, giggling and even knocking on my door?! Another day, I put my starbucks coffee can in the shared fridge on 3rd floor at 8.15 pm but on 10.30 when I go back to refill my drinking water, the coffee is gone! I want to check the cctv with the owner next morning but he's not there until 10 am when I have to check out so yeah... Also, the bed sheet is a bit rough due to the lint. The blanket also a bit weird because they can went off the cover. They also didn't clean the trash in your room daily, but the trash can size is too small. The hot water is also hard to control.
