a family-run hotel with great service. Every request or concern I had was dealt with within shortest time possible. Ponny and her family made me feel welcome, comfortable and ensured that I had everything I needed and even more than I expected/or asked for. My room was clean and even the dust from the lamps on the ceiling was removed, since I am allergic to dust. As I stayed more than 5 days I got a WIFI router with internet connection for free. I was using it during my 15 day stay and it worked perfectly fine. I actually regret buying the SIM card in the airport, because i actually didn't really use it at all. The location is not filled with tourists, which i really liked. If I wanted to go see all there is to see in Seoul, there were Subway stations nearby and a bus stop which was about 2 minutes walk from the hotel. ATMs and a big Supermarket were within 2-3 minutes walk. Even a pharmacy was close by. If you want to experience Korean hospitality at its finest and especially if you are traveling solo, like me, I definitely recommend this hotel. I want to thank Ponny and Ponny's father for everything they did for me and made my first time stay in Seoul unforgettable.

I couldn't have stayed in any better place for my time in Seoul! The apartment is spacious, very clean and has everything you need if you wanted to cater for yourself (which you don't need because Seoul has amazing food options). Public transport is just around the corner or a short walk away and connects you to any point in Seoul in a reasonable time. As a woman who traveled by myself I also felt very safe in the area, even late at night. But what makes this place really outstanding is its host Pony - she's just the nicest, most helpful person. I had some issues getting to the airport on my departure day and she helped me and made sure I get to the airport despite the early hour. She also gave me the perfect instructions to get to and into the apartment. If I come back to Seoul, and I hope one day I will, I will definitely consider this place. Thanks for providing me with the perfect basis for my incredible time in Seoul, Pony!

The appartment is located near shops, cafes and restaurants, near bus and metro station and within walkable distance to centre. It was well equipped, and contact with Ponny (host) was perfect! We have received all needed instruction on time and also tips how to travel to and from the airport. It was possible to check in earlier which was very very appreciated after long flight. Very good place to stay in Seoul.

There were no shelves or cupboards, both in main room and bathroom to store cosmetics or other stuff. We needed to keep everything in luggages as there wasn't enough space to pack out. The appartment is quite dark.

The location is good. Emart is right next door and there are enough places to eat in the neighborhood. It’s in the middle of the city with a subway station and bus stops all within 15-20 minutes away via walking. The room was ideal for us because it came with 6 beds. And it’s very well-appointed with an artistic touch. Has a big fridge and being that it’s more airbnb-ish than a traditional hotel, I liked that we weren’t bothered by a maid each morning. Super fast wifi and an open shower alp make it feel like your own small studio in Seoul than a hotel. That was a plus for us.

The only thing that bothered me was the main entrance was out of order and remained open for most of our stay (a full week). Seoul is super safe but we would’ve felt safer leaving our valuables in the room if it had a safe. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay. You’re not in the middle of all the actions but you get a super cozy and well-appointed room with 6 beds. Can’t ask for more.

The staff was super accommodating! Best service ever! It is also pretty close to things that we needed such as convenience store, bus stop, coffee, and food. It was cold when we went and the floor and beds are heated! The service was excellent, and the room was super cute as well. Also it has a washer in it which made out lives easy!

I think sometimes the keypad before the elevator would almost run out of battery, but we were able to get in although it gave us a warning. At first it was a little hard to find, but it is easy once you find it.

The owner was super friendly, made sure that we had everything we needed for the trip. She even gave us an option to choose our room from 2 different ones because we stayed in Korea for two and a half weeks. The room was lovely and unique, it was perfect for a long stay. The location was also very convenient. And the owner warned us about cleaning days 1 day before and the time of it, and if we had any questions she would always answer us very quickly. We had a great time and for a big group it was the perfect place to stay at, we will be going back there for sure.

We did not have shelves or wardrobes, which meant that we needed to keep our clothes in suitcases. But there was no room for them to be honest so it wasn't a big problem, in the end.

Loved my stay at Unicorn Residence, Pony was extremely friendly and communicative and the space was very spacious and comfortable. We had everything that we needed and even a cute little swing. I would definitely come and stay here again.

Many taxi drivers found it difficult to find the location so that might be a small inconvenience, but aside from that the residence is located close to convenience stores (5 min walk downhill) and restaurants that open 24/7.

Great value for the price, we had a great time during our stay. I stayed here for a week with my sister. We each had our own big bed and there was more than enough space for our big suitcases. We had our own kitchen and washing machine, and overall the place was comfortable and clean. Across the street is a shopping complex with a supermarket. It's a one minute walk from the nearest bus stop that can get you to places like Dongdaemun Market and Myeongdong.

Only downside to this place is the nearest metro station is always a 15-20 minute walk, though you can take a bus to get there quicker. So please bear in mind that it takes a bit longer to get to the other districts in Seoul, like Itaewon or Hongdae.

- Location is good. Easy transfer to any direction. - Change of bedsheets during the stay was really refreshing. - Easy access and easy to find & I received excellent instructions. - Flat was spacious.

- It was little bit noisy during the night due to heavy traffic. Better sealing windows could help in that. - Shower was combined with bathroom sink. This was not a problem to me, but some people might not be used to that.

The rooms are very comfortable, neat and clean. Goood facilities. The host Poppy was very easy to get in contact with, constantly updating. It was very very good. Close to shopping areas, groceries and lots of places to eat! Nothing bad, it is close to 2 train stations depending on where you want to go. Highly highly recommend!

I liked everything, but a little bit of a walk to the train station which got tiring after going out everyday. But doesn’t deter staying there. Would 100% go again.
