I absolutely loved staying at TwoTwo House. The rooms are great, and the equipments are great. The hostel has a very good location, right at the heart of Hongdae, and no curfew is applied so you can come and go as you like in the building. The staff and the owner are very helpful, very welcoming and friendly. The common spaces and the rooms are perfectly clean. I really recommend!

Everything was perfect.

The best hostel experience I've had in roughly fifteen stays. Location: a seven minute walk from Hongik University station. However, this walk is gorgeous, down the "green line": a beautiful pedestrian parkway lined with cafes, bars, and touristy shops! It feels very safe even at late night, you are always surrounded by young people (both groups and solo). There is plenty in the area to eat and drink and our host even suggested a phenomenal k-bbq spot just around the corner. Facilities: easy to locate, down an alleyway so it was quiet and sheltered from outside noise. The community area is calm and tasteful, sometimes soft-jazz is playing. There is a well-stocked kitchen area with complementary teas, coffee, and Korean biscuits to enjoy! You would be able to prepare simple meals or store things in the refrigerator for later. Our room had AC that was blissfully cold given the summer heat, beds with soft sheets and blankets. We had a private bathroom (a luxury for hostels!) with shower and shampoo, conditioner, and body-wash provided. Not soundproof, but other guests were respectful and we had no issues with noise. Staff: I can't list all the ways the staff accommodated us. They were truly outstanding. There is a phone left in the lobby so you can contact the hosts at any time with questions, but typically someone is in the lobby area to attend to guests. Impeccable English which was unexpected but much appreciated! Food recommendations, transportation help, coordinating meet-ups or activities with other guests....We realized too late our American phone chargers used different voltage and our host provided us with adapters so we wouldn't have to go out and buy our own! A laundry service is offered for 5,000 won so you don't even have to fuss with dirty clothes. Mostly, we just enjoyed chatting with the hosts. Another guest realized she had made an error in her booking and came a day early...

Everything was wonderful. The bathroom in our room was a wet room (for those unfamiliar, very common in Asian countries, there isn't a separate area for the shower) which isn't a downside, just something for westerners to be aware of. The host provided bathroom slippers so you can stay dry and sanitary in the wet room! Very thoughtful.

I stayed in an apartment. It was very modern, spotlessly clean, with the bedroom on a designer mezzanine floor. There is a large, private, terraced area. The apartment was well equipped, I booked a room with a washing machine and there was detergent available. It is located a short walk from Exit 3 of Hongik Station - line 2, accessible from both airport and two stops from Seoul Station. It is in a very quiet side street, just off the main street, which is literally full of restaurants and bars. The whole area it amazing, so vibrant and lively. The host is a genuinely nice guy, very keen that you have a good quality stay in his hotel, nothing is too much to ask. He is as extremely knowledgeable about the surrounding area, and he is super eager to help, give advice, and ensure you have the best experience of his City.

the property was near to hongdae station exit 3 and the surrounding has many restaurants. It is also near to bus stations. the staff, DJ and Jihun are really friendly to all their guests which I really like and I wanted to extend my stay because of their hospitality!

my first impression about the property when I arrived was that it wasn’t tidy. I think that if they could tidy up all the stuff outside and inside the guesthouse, it will be better for the eyes. the rooms are clean, just that the interior and exterior for public uses aren’t as tidy but totally understandable!

I stayed in a 2-bed with the private bathroom (some had a community bathroom). The place had a really chill, concrete vibe. It was a great value for the price. I had incense sticks and private a/c in my room, and the lighting was dim. It never felt dirty. And coming back was always refreshing. There’s a nice community area, with a fridge, water filter, sink, mirror and trash disposal. The staff was welcoming, responsive and helpful throughout my stay. The location is very close to Hongik University, so there was a lot going on in the nearby area which for me was perfect. I didn’t notice any outside noise.

Although the walls were concrete, there were times when I could hear a neighbor cough, or the sound of water from an upstairs drain.

A warm greeting from the staff set the tone for my stay at this charming duplex. While the third-floor climb might seem daunting, the moment I stepped into the room, any fatigue melted away. It was a delightful surprise to find a fully equipped haven, complete with a refrigerator, oven, iron, and a television with internet access. The added touch of Bluetooth speakers made the space feel even more inviting. Every corner of this lovely room exuded charm and made it worth every penny.

It seemed like the refrigerator was not cold enough to chill my beer hehe ;)

+ Perfect location. in Hongdae but on the residential side so it is very quiet + Secure place - with a digital keypad to enter the building, and a lock for the door room + Clean and good-sized rooms + You can get new towels every day + free toiletries (body soap, shampoo and conditioner)

The lock they used for the door is the same lock you use to secure your bike, so if you don't loop it at least twice, when you push the door open, the space is still enough for a skinny person to pass through - but this is very minor

I stayed in the duplex and loved having my own space while also having access to amenities from the main TwoTwo House (like towels and laundry services). It was private and so quiet, yet just half a block away was every store you could want. The staff were exceptional and immediately responsive to messages, which was very helpful! Staying here was the perfect home base for my time in Seoul.

The stair steps are far apart, making getting up to bed a little difficult if you're not limber. And maybe there was a way to do this that I wasn't aware of, but I wish I could have had fresh sheets partway during my stay, since they don't come by to change them like a hotel does. It wasn't a big deal though, and I still greatly preferred TwoTwo House over a hotel!

very friendly staff, nice little kitchen. really close to nightlife, the train and hongdae street. we loved the sitting area in the first Floor, where you could relax on a couch, after a long day of touring aroung seoul. perfect location, nice hosts, everything you need in the hostel. shops nearby, like 1 minute.

room was a bit dark, bathroom too. right in front of the window is a wall, which makes it even darker. sadly no painting or something, to make it more liveable. but we did not spend a lot of time in the room, so its fine. the bed was like a rock for me, but my mate thought it was fine. just an extra, do NOT lay this on the hostel: there was a construction site nearby, which began at 7.30am, but this was just unfortunate, not the hosts fault at all. just bad luck.

I stayed at TwoTwo house for two nights in a private room with balcony on the third floor. The location is very convenient when arriving at Hongik University station being just a 5 min walk from exit 3. The staff was very friendly and helped me with the check-in. The room was very nice, in particular having a balcony to relax at night was great. The area is very lively during the day with hundreds of cafes and restaurants but quiets down at night - perfect for sleeping.
