There’s tons of bus stations all around the hotel, which makes moving around Ulsan very easy. The hotel room was/felt very clean. And the hotel staff was very very friendly and extremely helpful. They also give you the option to turn down cleaning service, as you have to be out of the room from 10:00-14:00 if you don’t.

(This didn’t bother me but you might need to take this into consideration when booking) The room I booked might be a bit small for two people. I had just about enough room to open my suitcase.

The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is clean and has instructions which made it convenient to use. The room has your basic necessities (bring your own tooth brush, tooth paste and shower cap). The location is 5-7 minutes walk from Ulsan Express Bus Terminal. The hotel has CU convenience store besides it and several stores (clothes, phone accessories, photo booth, etc) about 10 minutes away. From the hotel it is a 3-5 mins walk to respective public bus stations.

- Breakfast was Korean style but they had bread, butter and jam. Maybe if they include cereal and milk also to cater to their foreigner guests that would be nice. - No complimentary tea/coffee sachets in the room. Just a kettle and a cup.

I love everything about the hotel! The design of the room and bathroom is really comfortable. Great for solo travellers. I love how the staff will come into the room to do house cleaning everyday and clear the bins and change the towels. The hotel also has self-laundry washer and dryer at affordable price and you can purchase detergent from the vending machine at the hotel lobby! Will deffo come back to this hotel again if I’m back to Ulsan :) The location is great too, it is just 5 mins walk from the big Lotte Departmental Store.

The staff were attentive to my requests and could understand my English well. The hotel's location was strategically near the intercity bus terminal and a train station with trains running towards Busan. The coin laundry was easy to use, and my laundry felt fresh after washing and drying.

The breakfast hour was not an issue as it was within a reasonable time frame. However, I wished I could have taken the breakfast, but due to the nature of my visitation, I had to leave before 7 am and was too rushed to grab breakfast.

The hotel was centrally located. A five minute walk from the bus terminals. The room was small, but very clean and comfortable! They gave me more towels and a water bottle for my second night.

There wasn’t any hand soap. 😩 Please put HAND SOAP in the bathroom. I either used my own soap I brought or their body wash as hand soap. They only gave one pillow. Please add two. 🙂 The breakfast was catered towards Koreans. I didn’t eat any of the free breakfast.

It was our third staying in Hotel Toyoka in Korea - two previous were in Incheon and Busan, and all of them were great! First of all, rooms are not very big, but they are quite nice to stay in for a night. Breakfast was good as always (it is included in the price) :) There were both Korean and American cuisine, so everyone could easily find something to eat for a breakfast :)

The location was really convinient. It is maybe 2 blocks away from the intercity and express bus stations. It is a block away from the Lotte Department store as well as the Lotte Young Plaza. I was a bit apprehensive about the breakfast, but it wasn't bad. I enjoyed their toast, sausages and fruit salad.

The only thing I had a problem with is the size of the toilet itself, I am bigger than the average person and I struggled to fit on the toilet.

Clean, quiet, and at a good price. You can't go wrong with a Toyoku inn. Breakfast was good and varied between days (curry and rice with side dishes) croissants and toast with salad is available too. Yes, checkin-out times are an hour later/earlier than usual, but you can store your bag and there are plenty of cafes, restaurants and malls around to spend the time.

It was clean and well presented. The location was great and easy to find.

The sheets were itchy which made it uncomfortable to sleep. Maybe opt for softer sheets and bedding in the future. But aside from the that, it was a pleasant stay.
