The location was very central, located in one of the main squares, so it was very easy to access everywhere easily on foot. The hotel staff was welcoming. The room was large and clean. The hotel was beautifully designed with old parchments along the the hallways and the stairs. The heating was easy to adjust and effective.

There was a slight smell in the bathroom. The hotel is not soundproof, I was able to hear the guests on the other rooms and the people outside. If it was summer, lacking of a mini refrigerator would be problematic but since it wasn't that warm during my stay I haven't looked for that in the room facilities when I am booking.

Location was superb in the old town overlooking gardens but it was a little complex finding the car parking which was a short walk away and involved carrying cases up a difficult set of stairs. Our room was spacious,clean and comfortable . The break fast was good with a wide choice of food which was of a good quality. We stayed when the city hosted the biggest medieval fair in Europe ,what a wonderful experience.

The evening meal was good but the menu restrictive everything else was excellent.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, both at the reception as well as the people serving breakfast. My wife speaks Spanish but my knowledge of Spanish is pretty limited. Nevertheless, the lady in the breakfast room was so nice to help me out in English. Much appreciated! The hotel is located in the center of the city so all you need to see is within walking distance.

The bath room is somehow outdated and requires a make-over. However, the bath room is clean and everything needed is available.

The breakfast was excellent and economical. The spread was great as well as fresh. The location to this hotel was exceptional. In the center of everything. The prime place to stay because it is walking distance from everything in the square . The staff were helpful. The decor was quaint. They also had an elevator which was surprisingly because of the decor. Overall my stay was great. I recommend others to stay at this hotel because it a gem.

Everything was great . So there wasn’t any cons for my stay.

The location is excellent being right in the heart of old Alcala yet still being within a 10 minute walk of the railway station and 5 minutes from the bus to the airport. Staff at reception were helpful and spoke good English. Room was very clean and well appointed.

The bathroom needs some refurbishment: low water pressure from the shower and the head shower was partly obstructed by limescale. The choice for breakfast is limited. The hotel can be noisy at night (noise from the street or from other hotel guests talking loud in the corridors)

Excellent hotel in the centre of the town, ideally located for enjoying this beautiful place. Comfortable room with great bathroom. Nice bar with outside seating areas to enjoy the sites in the beautiful square. Parking available less than 5 minutes walk away.

Situated in the heart of the city, just next to the University and at walking distance from all places of interest. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around. Very nice and helpful employees. It is an old building and they have kept the atmosphere when refurbishing.

No parking, on the other hand it's a common problem for all lodgings, as well as for housing in Alcalà center

Loved the decor and atmosphere in the hotel, friendly staff and very clean, room was nice and spacious, felt safe

The only thing was the mattress was a little hard but this was nothing major the stay was perfect!
