The choices for breakfast were excellent. The rooms cleaned each day to a high standard. The pool and surrounding areas very clean and late opening of the pool ensured everywhere was nice and quiet in the morning. The poolside and other activities were fun and well organised by the girls who were really nice and friendly.

We would have had our evening meal in the hotel as the quality and choice of food looked exceptional. However the seating area seemed rather perfunctory and impersonal for a evening meal, so we ate outside of the hotel although there wasn’t much choice of “inviting” restaurants.

Landed in Portugal at 11:30 and picked up a car and was in the Barcello by 2 o’clock. The pool is very large and beautiful the rooms are very comfortable showers are good we had half-board breakfast and dinner was very good quality and great choice. Just across the road is the stunning beach and some restaurants where we had lunch. Great for 4-7 days. Maybe bored as not a lot to do for longer unless you have a car.

Like any hotel can be noisy with people coming and going and people talking loudly outside. I just put ear plugs in and didn’t have a problem

Everything was exceptional -This is the second year in a row we are choosing Barcelo Isla Canela as our family holiday destination and it never disappoints. The rooms were bright and spotless clean Staff were so friendly and welcoming, always going above and beyond - They really make the difference and this applies to every single hotel department. With regards to the food, it was delicious and tasty with products of the region and always offering a wide range options. Hotel facilities were great and the fact that the hotel is literally one step away from the beach is a big bonus. All in all, very highly recommended!

The hotel commodities were amazing (despite no jacuzzi available due to covid restrictions). Large pool and tons of chair to be on the sun. The breakfast is really good with a lot to offer. The room had the right amount of size, the balcony was huge. The snack bar was really good.

The things that we didn't like were the cocktails (caipirinha, mojito). They were just awful and way over price due such bad quality. All-included doesn't mean all included. You still have to pay 50% of the the PVP on the better goods. Don't buy the bracelet. The staff mood changes according the day, sometimes they were super nice other times they were rude. The animation staff were always in good mood but they always call everyone to participate. If you're relaxing the silence is appreciated but the activities were always super loud.

Rooms were amazing, views were fantastic!! The beach was only a short walk away. The dinner and breakfast buffet was really nice with lots of selection. Pool and bar were lots of fun and very refreshing.

No one’s fault but our own , but we had a little trouble communicating the chamber staff. But everything was amazing. I would and have strongly suggested this resort to others whether traveling as a couple or a group.

The location to the beach was great. The food was good and the staff were friendly. No problems at all. We paid for the up grade on the room which was stated as deluxe however the room is small for a deluxe description. However it was comfortable. There are only 2 x channels on the TV for British guests.

More channels on the tv for British guests that would show news channels for example.

stunning Property, gardens & pool. although bedroom on the small size was adequate, clean and lovely comfortable beds. staff where lovely especially in the snack bar where they were extremely busy.

The dining area was not what I expected, too small for the amount off people, felt claustrophobic, maybe more outside seating? food was ok, nothing special and AI did not mean all was inclusive! no mini bar in room, not tea/coffee making facilities in room. had to put a €10 deposit on each beach towel. you wouldn’t expect the above on a 4+ * accommodation. AI was disappointing, .

It's location to the beach,great pool,immaculate gardens and very good restaurant,great staff and reasonable bar prices.

Dated furniture in rooms, entertainment aimed understandably at Spainish holiday makers.

Room was spacious as was the bathroom. The pool area was comfortable and there were activities going on. Being so close to the beach was an advantage. The sunsets are spectacular!

That we had to pay for loungers on the beach, perhaps the hotel guests could have this included in their hotel stay as a perk.

Beautiful hotel, set in lovely grounds .

We had booked a balcony room. On arrival the room we were given had a Juliet balcony . Went to reception and asked if possible to move . The lovely girl at reception was so helpful and we moved to a fab pool and sea view room with a balcony . So a disappointment was quickly turned around .
