I have stayed in a lot of swank hotels over the years. Expensive, swank hotels. Jumeriah, ShangriLa, Ritz, Mandarin Oriental......and I can honestly say that this is the best, best, best hotel I have ever stayed at, at least from my point of view. Location, accommodation, staff, breakfast.....all as perfect as it can be. I can not say enough good about this place. Wow!

Very friendly, professional and helpful staff. We loved the design of this hotel, very quirky and stylish which is what attracted us in first place; the lobby smells amazing! The location is excellent and we had a stunning view from our balcony. The room was spacious and clean, with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was abundant and of great quality. Great rooftop bar too! We would definitely consider coming back again!

We could only find a small flaw: they could use some new towels, as the ones we got were falling apart a little while using them, but this definitely did not affect our stay.

Location was great, safe and the staff were great.

Boutique hotel right in the best spot of Barcelona where you can find great shops and restaurants. Personnel really friendly and attentive. Breakfast was superb and there was so much variety. Bed was really comfortable and this is a big plus. Very safe neighborhood as well.

Room not very ergonomic as the wardrobes have been designed more to appeal to the aesthetics rather than serve their purposes. However, the bathroom/toilet due to lack of space is unpleasant and quite smelly. Also, they haven't really thought the toilet door function which makes a click sound and basically wakes up anyone in the room. For such a chain hotel, you would think they would have better ergonomic ideas. Another minus, is the rooftop bar where the chairs, stools etc looked so cheap and not welcoming at all to have a drink.

The hotel was really centrally located. Close to public transport and not too far to walk to the Old Town. The staff on reception were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The pool was fabulous after a full day of sightseeing in the heat. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet considering its location overlooking quite a busy road. Surrounded by some lovely food options.

The only thing would be the room is decorated in some very overpowering décor, paint and wallpaper. I did know this prior to arrival looking at the photos so it had no impact on our stay.

We first received a standard room that was not to our liking. There was no night stands, no desk, etc. after two days we were upgraded to a deluxe room, for free. That room was amazing. It is well equipped and had a small balcony. We also liked the breakfast and the amazing location. And most of all, the friendly staff.

We did not like the standard room we received, which did not meet our expectations, the TV in both rooms could not be hooked to Netflix or Prime TV, even with our subscription. Even the remote did not work. The staff tried to help but it did not work even after a new remote was provided. In both rooms. The washing gel, shampoo, etc. are in annoying containers that you need to lift the top to get more after each push. Not suitable for a 4-star hotel.

We love Roommate Anna. This was our second visit. The location is perfect, easy walk to the centre, Rambla etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Special mention for Ruth who checked us in and made us feel welcome. The hotel has character and isn't just another soulless corporate place. Décor is interesting. Breakfast is excellent, plenty of choice and good quality. There is also a nice rooftop bar. We wanted a late check out, because of a late evening flight. Pleased to say this was possible for a small charge. This is always subject to the room being available, but I think they always try to help. We highly recommend staying here.

Nothing really. Although it has to be said that the hotel décor is a bit quirky and may not be everyone's taste (but we like it). Corridors are a bit dark, with fish wallpaper.. Plenty of mirrors and red and black paint. Check out the pictures to make sure it is fou you.

Great location - central and close to key attractions without being in the middle of the chaos. Clean and modern throughout. Great light blocking curtains and comfy bed for sleep. Good use of space in the room.

We were on the 7th floor (right below the roof/bar) and every morning there were very loud sounds coming from above that sounded like they were moving furniture perhaps? Good sound insulation from the walls, but apparently terrible sound insulation from the ceiling. Shower pressure was great but leaked water into the main bathroom sink area, which was also a little tight since the toilet and shower both had their own rooms & doors.
