We have booked this hotel for our overnight stay before heading back to Santander Port. What a unique place, what an atmosphere! Owned by the family, a truly extraordinary building with its own church in a beautiful location. Super friendly and helpful staff, great food, comfortable rooms and charming hotel dog Rex. Windy roads leading to the hotel are amazing (we travelled on motorcycles). Next time we would like to stay there for more than 1 night so we could explore this beautiful location. Definitely adding this hotel to my favourites list! :)

Nothing, everything was great.

The staff were lovely people. Kind and friendly, which we greatly appreciated considering the demonstrations in Barcelona and elsewhere at the moment. We stayed one night to break our trip to our holiday destination. We ate very well in the restaurant and were charmed by the patience and humour of the girl who served us. What a lovely, peaceful out of the way, stopover.

Very warm welcome and very obliging/accommodating. The accommodation was nice and warm (it was cold outside). Friendly staff. Very enjoyable meal.

The only thing I didn't like were the white LED overhead lights in the bar area as they give me eye strain. I would change them to warm glow!

The property was quite isolated, but was a short drive from a small village. Beautiful situation in countryside. Friendly reception & good restaurant with good menu. Rooms spotless. Quirky but welcoming.

As far as we were concerned no issues, loved it.

This is a truly wonderful hotel in a simply stunning location, run by a friendly, helpful and welcoming family. The food was traditional Spanish cuisine at its very best, and although our room was not large it was more than adequate and had a good en suite shower and loo. We very much look forward to returning here on our next trip.

We wouldn't even think about changing anything, and only regret that we were not able to stay for longer.

Fantastic historic place with great character. Location with wide countryside views. Helpful and friendly staff. Dinner in the restaurant.

The room was very small and difficult to move around. If they removed the large wooden cupboard there would be more space.

Very attentive staff, good food in the restaurant and location. Perfect stopover on the road from Catalonia to Asturias and a good place to stop for those on their way to the ferry at Santander.

Lovely old converted building with it’s own church. Bedroom was small but had everything you would need - you get what you pay for. Evening meal was excellent - well prepared, quantity produce. Had a great evening in the bar with a crowd of retired locals who were so welcoming and friendly - they like to enjoy themselves but the good news is all was quiet by 10:30pm as the bar is immediately below the bedrooms. Staff were very friendly and gave us free tapas with our drinks (plus a free drink which is probably the custom). A fairly basic breakfast but that was fine after the meal the previous night. Parking right at the front door.

Beautiful rural setting in a 500 year old (renovated) building with a lovely attached chapel. The hosts are friendly and amazing and we loved everything about our stay.
