Firstly it has to be the Staff at the Hotel who throughout our stay made us feel "special" as Guests. Particular mention to both David and the lady who looked after our room. Breakfast had excellent choices both hot and cold and the Dinner Menu gave a well balanced variety of different dishes. In fact having eaten out on just one occasion we decided to have our Evening meal at the Hotel on the other four nights. Parking can be found directly outside the Hotel or you have a choice of paid secure parking at the rear of the property. The Owner had a daily chat and from what he told us he obviously had the background and experience to know what it takes to run a successful Hotel business.

Nothing to do with the Hotel but it can be a bit of a hilly walk into the main Restaurant area.

Overall a good experience: + Good location + Good breakfast + Nice garden + Friendly staff + Excellent restaurant + Limited but free parking

Some small weird things like: - Room didn't have a garbage bin, we had to put our garbage into a bag in the corner of the room - Room had a bit strange smell that we needed to get used to (it used to be stables we were told) - Cheap toilet paper - No welcome drinks or free water bottle

The owners are a lovely family and the property is well appointed. Their restaurant is also outstanding. Miguel & his wife, Johana, their son, Miggy, and the waiter David were especially friendly. Tati, the cleaning lady was amazing. She even dried my clothes that were sopping wet from the beach.

If I could change anything, which is really not a big deal, I would add a hook near the shower for robes, etc and make the bathroom door not glass so there is more privacy. One of the waitresses was very unfriendly, but I understand she’s gone through a lot recently. The rest of the staff was incredibly warm and kind. Overall, this hotel was comfortable, convenient & clean. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat.

The hotel is full of character, a short walk to the centre of Begur, a quiet location with private, secure parking (fee payable). A very useful welcome given by Miguel, to describe the area with maps & staff helpful & friendly. Lovely food, both breakfast, served on the terrace with wonderful views & quality evening meal. We used the tourist bus for access to various beaches, as parking difficult & reliable, cheap service. We would visit this hotel again if in the area.

Hotel is located in Begur. Very easy to arrive nearby beaches, and visit old Begur. The room was spacious (stayed 2 adults and 15 years old), well equipped, very clean. Main bed was comfortable. Enough towels and toiletries (rare this days). Staff were super nice and helpful. Recommended us nearby places, provided beach towels. Nice terrace.

The extra bed was'nt of best quality. My daughter felts the springs. I think that even when kids are allowed to stay in room with no extra charge they should get a good bed.

Staff very friendly. Hotel setting was lovely. Rooms quaint.

Unfortunately TV wasnt working properly though staff tried to fix it. No signal. Breakfast was disappointing. Scrambled eggs cold and very little else in hot food. Poor selection of fruit and breads. Rooms downstairs were nice but wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility issues Didn't apply to us though.

We booked a room with 'mountain view' and were not disappointed! We had a secluded balcony where we happily enjoyed a light lunch every day. The Hotel architecture and approach is traditional and friendly, with a clever modern twist. Brilliantly located for accessing both beaches (did I mention the beaches!!!!) and the wonderful local medieval walled towns. Perfect!

We should have booked longer.

Very pleasant one night stay. Beautiful hotel with great views over the Emporda countryside. Big, comfortable, clean room with it's own terrace - great for breakfast or a beer in the evening. Very peaceful but only a short walk into the centre of Begur. Had a very nice lunch and breakfast was spectacular. Very welcoming staff (mostly). Would definitely stay again.

Noisy air-con

All of the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a lovely room, with its own terrace, it was extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, especially if you were lucky enough to get one of the tables on the terrace with the most spectacular views. We hope to return.

Can't think of anything. Maybe sunloungers for the terrace?
